Fractured Ankle & Surgery

My mother broke her ankle by slipping in bathroom two weeks ago. We went to the doctor and he took an x-ray. He said that the ankle is broken and will require surgery by inserting screw and plate. My mother can put pressure on her ankle, she can walk, move her toe fingers, go to the bathroom , go up and down on stairs on her own and even pain seems to be minimum sometimes. Her foot is swollen and there is a little swelling on ankle along with few others blue bruising. 18 years ago, she broke the same ankle and got plastered for a month and a half along with 6 months of problem. She doesn’t want to do the surgery because she is scared that she will get more complications after surgery than she is facing right now. I honestly don’t know what to do. Can her ankle be fractured from 18 years and she walked on it normally? What happens if she doesn’t do the surgery? Can her ankle heal on her own? Please help me.

Bone density is less

Hi, my grand mother has pains in all joints. I have showed her to neurologist and immunologist. Both doctors have told no problem with nerves and they suggested to consult physiotherapist. The day we consulted physiotherapist, he told to do scanning and X-ray for spine and bones. We did scanning and X-ray for bones and spine. Physiotherapist told that my grand mother has less bone density and she has osteoporosis after seeing reports. He suggested to start physiotherapy and use vitamins and protein tablets. She had physiotherapy for her both the knees and right ankle for 8 days but we didn't find any difference. I requesting to please suggest us what should be the problem and what is the right treatment for my grandmother. I am attaching her reports and prescription given by physiotherapist.

Toe Fracture

This morning I slipped and jammed my toe into a cemented brick. It was numb for a while, before the pain set in and my toe started to swell up. It grew until it became unbearable, and I got a sudden headache and my ears started ringing and I felt very dizzy. I had to sit down and one of my friends got me a painkiller. After that, I went and gave a 2 hour exam. I saw the nurse later and she put some ice on my toe, along with a cream. After 5 hours from the time I fell, I went to the doctor and got an XRay. He says it's a ligament tear but I feel like I need a second opinion because the pain is too much, and I'm unable to walk. I've been prescribed some painkillers, and I was given an injection. If possible, I would like it if some doctor could LOOK AT MY X-RAY REPORT and tell me what they think.

But he gave 2 tablets to relieve her from the inflammation and pain. My mother took the medicine in the night and next day she had vomiting and heaviness in the head. The vomiting lasted for almost 8 hrs with mild headache and dizziness. When I called the doctor to inform about the situation he said its the side effect of the tablet. Instead of suggesting an alternate medicine he suggested me to take her to some other nearby hospital. Very bad people management. more..
