I visited Dr. Bharathi Rajanna as i was struggling to get pregnant.

What seemed like a distant dream for me and my husband was made a reality by Dr. Bharathi Rajanna. When our initial efforts of conceiving a child met with no success, disappointment was writ large on our faces. In an opportune moment, a family friend advised us to consult Dr. Bharathi Rajanna. She did study my case comprehensively and opined that there isn't a reason to worry and advised that I turn towards a healthier lifestyle. She said that I need transformation rather than treatment. As the days passed by, I felt confident and had positive vibes. Although it took over 8 months, I conceived naturally and that too with twins. :) Throughout my pregnancy, the doctor guided me like a mother and never did I face any issues whatsoever. I'm indebted to her forever. Shortly after my twin daughters turned two, I conceived again with a singleton. With the pandemic raging all across, I was obviously worried about medical management during pregnancy. The doctor was always available over call and I felt assured throughout. I delivered a baby boy towards the end of third trimester and there was no limit to the joy of our family. None of this would be possible without the noble efforts of the doctor.

My experience with Dr. Bharathi at Fortis Hospitals was extremely disappointing and unlike any I’ve had in years. I consulted her for a gynecological issue after undergoing a corporate full-body checkup. Unfortunately, from the start, she was unfriendly and carried an air of superiority, making it clear she wanted to get through the consultation as quickly as possible. She briefly looked at my reports, recommended some medicines, and rushed through the explanation, leaving me confused. She failed to understand my circumstances and lifestyle, assuming everyone has the same privileges and flexible work timings as her.The most shocking moment came when I asked her about the purpose of the prescribed medications. *** ****** ********* **** ***** ****** ******** ******* *** *** **** ** **** **** *** ********* *** ***** She then outright refused to explain the reasons for the prescription, leaving me feeling helpless and disrespected.She also recommended a mammogram, a breast scan, which I later discovered would be conducted by a male attendant at Fortis. Uncomfortable with this, I asked for alternatives, and she suggested another lab. To my dismay, the situation was the same there, making me question her recommendation. Unfortunately, having already paid, I had no choice but to proceed, feeling extremely disappointed and uncomfortable throughout the process.Overall, I found her approach cold and intimidating. Instead of providing comfort and understanding, she made me hesitant to return for follow-ups or share my concerns. I wouldn’t recommend her to anyone seeking compassionate and respectful medical care. A doctor should instill confidence and make patients feel at ease—something that was completely missing in my experience with Dr. Bharathi.
