Dr. Anju Namashivaya

Great experience with Dr Anju. She explained everything very clearly. Very friendly attitude. Also highly appreciate her professionalism.

We visited the doctor for anomaly scan in Apollo Cradle near Brookefield Mall, Bangalore. Doctor was very nice and friendly. My double marker test showed high risk for Down syndrome that’s where she examined me in detail. She explained me each and everything very clearly. Despite of attending so many patients, I admire the way she remembers your history/previous scan reports and communicates with patients. I was recommended amniocentesis procedure and I was so nervous due to associated risk involved. Dr. Anju made me feel comfortable and positive. I don’t think i would have been able to go through this procedure without her support. She understands and feels the pain of patients going through such scans/procedures. She messaged me my amino report outside her working hours just because she could realise how important the test was for any couple. We can’t thank enough for her support and guidance. I have never come across such friendly and knowledgable doctor in my life so far. Even after my amino tests, she remembered my case and followed with my respective gyne in cloud nine to ensure if I have delivered normally.

Highly recommend the doctor to couples - you might experience some waiting time but she always make that clear during appointment and believe me it’s worth it.

Following are her major plus points and I don’t have anything to say as minus honestly.

1. Detail oriented: She explains everything in simple words and anyone can understand it

2. Super friendly: She is so comfortable to talk with. At the same time she does not add up anything just to please us

3. True well wisher: She does not promote anything, rather she provides the choices, explains each clealry and gives us personal time to take the decision

4. Technically rich: She has a rich educational background and experience. Her accuracy in this scan seemed so perfect to me as per my knowledge and her clarifications to my queries are totally convincing

5. Availability: I am lucky to get her time without a prior appointment but she still spent long time as it was required

6. Humble and down to earth: She understands our feelings completely and be a moral support. She is very polite to all and has a genuine humanity

She is very friendly and treated us so nicely, that my wife was very comfortable and even the baby was very cooperative while scanning :) She explained us all our queries with patience , she made sure that my in-laws also saw the scan one by one as not more than one is allowed along with the expecting mother. we were very glad to have met her in our last scan atleast and make it a memorable one for the life time. So much thanks to Dr Anju. we strongly recommend every one to meet her and get the scanning done by her only.

We had an extremely distressing experience with Radiologist Dr. Anju Namahshivaya at Cloudnine Hospital, Whitefield. During our anomaly scan, she told us our baby had serious chromosomal issues and urgently recommended ****** tests like NIPT (rs 20000) or amniocentesis. We were told to rush to our gynecologist, yet had to wait nearly two hours to get our scan report, something that seemed unusual, especially since other patients received theirs within 15 minutes. More concerning was the discrepancy between the online report (generated at 2 40 PM) and the printed version given to us at 4 30 PM. I conceived and delivered my baby in the middle of the Covid pandemic. We found Dr. Anju online and read reviews about her, made an appointment and were really happy to have her do my pregnancy scan. She is extremely professional, direct yet very polite and explains in detail how the baby is doing. She put me at ease and unlike most medical professionals I'd encountered, never asked me why I chose to have my first baby at 40. I'd totally recommend her, she was a thorough professional and wonderful to work with.

I strongly recommend Dr Anju Namashivaya.

1. She was very friendly during all my pregnancy scans and answered all our doubts in a simple and clear way.

2. She does her job very strictly. If the baby's position is not as expected, she is ready to wait until the baby's position is appropriate for capturing all the parameters correctly. I have waited and went for scan on the same day for more than 3 times to get the accurate results. She is really patient in this regard.

3. She is super friendly with the kids who accompany their mothers. She answered all my daughter's questions in a very simple way. We really appreciate her patience.

4. She is very strict in appointment timings as she do not want other patients to wait because of patients who are coming late. So be available before your appointment time :)

Overall I find Sakra hospital very good. Doctor's are very experienced and talk well in patients. The attendant at desk are polite. The only negative feedback I have is the wait time. Which is too long. On one of our appointment we came 15 minutes late, we were made to sit for 2 hour saying Dr.Anju will meet us, after 2 hour. After 2 hours we were told another 30 minutes we have to wait with no guarantee. As I was I hurry to leave for office, I left and we did the Scan outside Sakra as there no further appointment with Dr.Anju for next 5- 10 days. Dr. Chitra did consider the Scan done by us.

I want to show my appreciation to Doctor Anju Namashivaya who is the doctor in charge of fetal scanning. I have always felt so comfortable and happy going to her. She puts you at ease by talking to you and telling you small details about the baby. Which she need not but she still takes time to make that connection with the patient. The supporting scan staff and Outpatient staff too are very prompt and helpful.

Highly recommended.
