Dr Aniruddha Jagannath graduated from Bangalore medical college with honours and went on to pursue his dream of becoming a neurosurgeon. His training was at the prestigious NIMHANS for a period of 6 long years. He is specialised in headache management, fits (epilepsy) and other neurological illnesses. He also treats neck pain and back pain. His emphasis is on accurate diagnosis and non-surgical line of therapy in these cases (as far as possible). He is specialized in skull base surgery(pituitary tumors) where the adenoma is removed through the nose. He also operates on spine with a small incision (minimally invasive spine surgery) for slip disc and spondylolysis where the recovery period is short and the incisions are shorter. He also operates regularly on brain tumors, both in adults and children, trigeminal neuralgia with facial pain, cerebral aneurysms and brachial plexus injuries. He also is an expert in endoscopic procedures for hydrocephalus in children (ETV). He further gained knowledge in skull base and endoscopic surgery at Ghent Belgium. He is keen to know more and updates his knowledge regularly. He has been a visiting fellow at Ohio University and aurora neurosciences (USA), where he had special training in robotic neurosurgery.

It was a wonderful experience for the whole family who were in a very delicate and unforeseen situation while we admitted my wife with Aster Rv hospital at JP nagar and Dr Anirudh in a quick action diagonised the problem as Aneyurism .Not only that he gave clear account of the situation ,the patient is undergoing and his suggestion to come out of it at the earliest. In the next couple of days she was operated for the rupture by clip method by Dr Anirudh and his team.We found her on road to recovery within next few days.
