Dr Aniruddha Jagannath graduated from Bangalore medical college with honours and went on to pursue his dream of becoming a neurosurgeon. His training was at the prestigious NIMHANS for a period of 6 long years. He is specialised in headache management, fits (epilepsy) and other neurological illnesses. He also treats neck pain and back pain. His emphasis is on accurate diagnosis and non-surgical line of therapy in these cases (as far as possible). He is specialized in skull base surgery(pituitary tumors) where the adenoma is removed through the nose. From the first consultation through recovery, Dr. Anriuddh treated my mother, ailing from parasagittal meningioma, with utmost care and patience. My family was well informed of all the risks, and every question or concern was addressed. He walked us through imaging, explained meningioma in simple terms, and discussed how he and his team would approach the tumor. There was no rush, and he gave us time to process all the risks involved during the surgery. He made us well aware of the technique and approach that would be used in the surgery. The doctor’s assurance about prioritizing patient care and his kind, soft, and gentle handling of the patient made us confident in his skills.
Dr. Aniruddh performed a meticulous meningioma resection with minimal impact on the surrounding brain tissue, in turn minimizing the side effects of the surgery. Post- surgery, the regular follow-ups were well-handled and my mother is resolved of her symptoms and has regained normal quality of life.
