Dr. Bindu Venugopal

Dr Bindu Venugopal is a Radiation Oncologist with considerable experience in treating cancers of various types. She completed her MBBS from JJMMC, Davangere in 2007 and MD in Radiation Oncology from Kidwai Memorial Institute of Oncology in 2013. She pursued international fellowships at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, Melbourne through the UICC in 2020 with a special interest in lung cancer. She furthered her interests in advanced techniques of SABR/SBRT, particularly in gastrointestinal and thoracic malignancies at CancerCare Manitoba, Canada in 2021-22 by completing a CARO Clinical Fellowship in Radiation Oncology. She was awarded a certificate of exceptional care to her patients during the fellowship. She has keen academic interests and has published in many national and international journals. She is a member of Association of Radiation Oncologists of India (AROI), Trans Tasman Radiation Oncology Group (TROG Cancer Research) and Canadian Association of Radiation Oncology (CARO). She is passionate about cancer prevention and advocates for early detection and treatment of cancer.
