I am Sathishkumar from tamilnadu...i found that i had chronic kidney disease on March 2024..that time the GFR is 15 and creatinine is 4.6..after that we had no idea about what is the next plan..so we started taking siddha medicines to lowering creatinine..after taking this medicines for 1 month there is no improvement and it's worsens even more..and food also major source.. bcoz our kidney can't filter the potassium,urea, sodium...so we wanted to need proper dietician for renal..and we searched through online and we found Dr.suguna through practo app..and we consulted Dr.suguna madam..it was a nice session..and she suggested us to stop taking siddha medicines.. it will worsens the working condition of a kidney..and she gave very clear explanation about how the food incorperated with the kidney function..and if the person has CKD it's very important to follow the strict diet to reducing the load for filtering.. and she gave us the customized diet plan as per our convenient.. which is helped us to improving the kidney function..and doctor suggested us strictly consult one good nephrologist and get a proper treatment for that.. bcoz most of the persons are taking siddha medicines without the proper guidance and it won't work for CKD patients..so Dr suguna madam gave awareness about taking siddha medicines..so after the next day we came to our native and consulted 1 good nephrologist..after that we found the cause for kidney failure.. which is IGA nephropathy.. it's manageable under medications..so we followed Dr suguna madam diet chart and also medications.. which is helped us a lot.. bcoz our nephrologist suggested it will take only 3 to 4 months for transplantation..but we followed strict chart as per Dr suguna madam advice..so the transplantation process almost postponed for 1 year..the creatinine also increased slowly..not rapidly..on june 11 2025 we successfully done a renal transplantation... and my wife is my volunteery kidney Donor.. every thing went smoothly..and now again we consulted Dr suguna madam for post renal transplantation diet plan..we hope it will also help us to improve the kidney function..and we really thankful to Dr suguna madam.. with her advice only we consulted one good nephrologist..and now we are living happily.. thankyou so much Dr suguna madam..

Dr. Suguna gave a very detailed explanation of the diet that has to be followed and she reasoned out why an item has to be added or removed from the diet. Further, she was very patient in her approach, and answered all my queries without rushing. Apart from diet, she also suggested some pranayams and exercises that could help calm the mind and reduce belly fat.
