This is purely my opinion and experience. I don't say anything wrong about hospital and its staff.
Went to this hospital in Dec 2019:
I have taken my mother to the hospital.
Before we met Doctor, Nurse asked my mother to go for default diabetes tests which cost Rs: 2600. Agreed and gone for default diabetes tests. Results were given in just less than 15 minutes.
Doctor consultation fee was 450 per day/consultation.
Doctor has written some tablets and it costs around Rs:7000 per month.
Note: These medicines are available ONLY in their hospital and sometimes if you ask more tablets then medical store people say that "we have less stock and cannot provide more than 2 sheets now".
Even if we ask the doctor to suggest some generic medicines, he suggests us to use his prescribed medicines because those medicines were manufactured under this doctor guidance.
Conclusion:
1) Default diabetes lab tests usually cost you less than Rs:1000 in other outside diagnostics centres.
2) Might be doctor suggested tablets are better for diabetes patients but it is too expensive and it won't available outside.
3) in my mother's case, medicines or tests costs around Rs: 20000 per quarter. Felt too expensive.
