Dr. Jayaprada's, Jayanagar

Hi everyone! I wanted to share my experience with Dr. Jayaprada because it genuinely made a difference for me and my husband. We had been struggling with a personal issue for a while, and despite reading and asking around, we just couldn’t find clear answers.

We eventually decided to meet Dr. Jayaprada since she was close by, and honestly, we walked out of our first session feeling relieved and much more informed. She helped us understand what was actually going on and guided us with practical, straightforward advice. Her suggestion to freeze our eggs right away turned out to be one of the best decisions we’ve made, and it gave us the clarity and sense of control we had been missing.

We went to Dr. Jayaprada for marital counseling when me and my wife were almost at the edge of getting divorced. Honestly, I was thinking twice in the beginning because the sessions felt expensive for me. But now, looking back, I can say it was worth every penny.

Dr. Jayaprada didn’t just do regular counseling or talk therapy—she went much beyond that. She understood both of us deeply and helped in a holistic way. After researching extensively, I decided to finally give therapy a shot. I finalized on Dr Jayaprada because she had good reviews and a lot of experience. I was utterly disappointed with the session. I appreciate that she was atleast "trying" to be friendly but her opinions about things differed from mine. I understand that these things are subjective but I am paying 2450 for the session (450 is the first time registration fee) and it is natural to expect the doctor to have an open mind about things. She spoke about astrology, the numerous miracles that she had encountered, invalidated my feelings when I said that I experience existential crisis. How she came to this conclusion is actually funny. She figured it all out by my handwriting, which is great. Not disregarding anything about Graphology. I just don't believe it myself. She believes in astrology. Again, that is absolutely okay. It is just that I did not expect her to give me a prediction about my career. I had also mentioned that my mother talks to me about such things and subtly hinted that I personally do not like it when she does it. I liked how she had lots of books in her office/home clinic. We spoke about few of them. She mentioned Devdutt Pattanaik. How his books are really good etc. But she also mentioned that he is gay. How was that relevant in that context? Was that required to be mentioned there? I don't know. Finding a good therapist is also based on luck sometimes. This was my one shot at it and I can't go for a therapy anytime soon as it is so expensive. I wish it was worth it.
