She is stuck in the middle ages. Was hesitant to prescribe me birth control pills because I am not married (I'm 30 and my mother doesn't care what I do with my lady bits). Kept asking 'your mother knows?'. Told me long-term pill use is cancerous (has been routinely disproved in medical journals) and kept saying that I will want children (even though I said I don't)

She said that I should be married for such issues. Eventually prescribed me pills, but not without being alarmed at everything- my unmarried state, my lack of interest in childbearing, and my want to take birth control pills.

Only go if you are married, pregnant or spacing children, and your 'mother knows'.
