Underwent hair transplant surgery performed by Dr.Deepak Devkar. Writing this after 1+year after procedure. The procedure lasts for about 5-6hrs with first half for extracting the hair follicles and second half for the transplant procedure (lunch was provided at the clinic).

Doctors expertise: Overall the doctor was very good in explaining the process making sure all the doubts were clarified. 100% safe choice especially since the process involves administration of local anesthesia.

The Process: Can be moderately painful with extreme care needed for upto two weeks (Best not to travel anywhere during this period). Swelling in the face is common after the procedure and temporary lasting for upto a week. Need to sleep inclined for few days and need to regularly apply saline spray. PRP injection was given during the procedure itself.

The good: The doctor is very skilled. Overall I'm satisfied with the final result and care post treatment was pretty good with doctor being quite responsive. This was vital for me since I visited from another city and flew out of the country after 2 weeks.

The not so good: Although result was satisfactory, it is not a 100%. The frontal areas could've been more dense, but the doctor drew a receded hairline during marking to save some follicles. Also the crown area is still sparse and scalp is easily visible under sunlight. Also need to take medication for 1+ year for ideal results (Minoxidil solution and finasteride tablets - which might have side effects for some although I haven't faced any problem). Since this is a cosmetic procedure it's only fair to compare the results and I have personally seen better results with more grafts transplanted. Pricing is a little steep for the kind of results I obtained.

Final words: The doctor is very skilled and reliable and have no regrets for getting the procedure done at his clinic and it has significantly changed my facial look for the better. The results were satisfactory (although not the best). The pricing per graft was a little steep but overall worth it.

I had booked an appointment through practo at 7.45 over a week back. I reached the clinic 15 minutes before my appointment and waited there in the clinic for 45 minutes. When I followed up with them about my appointment again after 45 minutes i was told that there are still 5 patients who needs to be looked at and I will be looked at after those 5 patients. So that means even if i had waited there on an average I should have waited for more than an hour to talk to the doctor. Which means almost 2 hours of waiting in the clinic even after booking an appointment prior to a week. I unfortunately had to leave without even consulting the doctor because I do not have 2 hours to spare sitting in the clinic even after booking an appointment. What is the point of taking appointments if you cannot adhere to it? On top of all of this when we asked about their closing time they told us that it is 8.30. Overall I had a very bad experience.

I’m very impressed by the doctor deepak. Usually some dermatologists just don’t listen to patients issues. But he was so cooperative. He literally addressed each and every issue of mine and checked into it with so much detail. All set mate I see they just look at the issue prescribe something. They don’t even listen. I’m very glad. He recommends what’s needed that’s the best part. Doesn’t force for procedures or anything. He’s gonna be my go to dermatologist from now on

First of all, HT surgery and post HT surgery was almost a pain free. I appreciate doctor and their staffs for taking necessary care during HT surgery and post surgery calling me up and asking my health condition post HT surgery.

It took nearly 6 months to see a sort of visible result to which myself, my family members & friends appreciated.

I am writing this review after an year of my HT surgery to get to the point did the result stood with Doctors' promise of 10 to 12 months to see appreciable amount of growth- my answer is big "Yes".

Reached beating silk board traffic by 6:40 for an appoinment at 6:45. Staff did take details and asked to wait.It was 7:05 never got my doc. Stepped up to check and the lady says there are 2 more patients ahead of me. I was cheesed off and left.I am not sure what it takes to be timebound, Incase delayed, staff needs to have courtesy to inform the customer by callng ahead.It was indeed Highly Unprofessional, And I got a call at around 8, checking if I am visiting or not. Zero Time Sense and Empathy....

I visited doctor in Feb'21 to check and test for my hairfall. I have been losing hair since I was 18 and I am 27 now. I have reached grade 5-6 of baldness. Dr.Deepak and Dr. Sheetal took a look at me and suggested hair transplant is the best way ahead. I was pretty confused if its going to work since I have seen a lot of people see real bad results. But they gave me enough confidence and assurance that it does work and most of the failed results come from clients who have been to a technician rather than a certified Doctor. Entire staff was helpful right from my first meeting. I booked my surgery for 9th March and got it done. A day before that they had me tested to check if all is fine.

Its been a little over 5months that I got my HT. I am really pleased with the work that Dr. Deepak has done. Highly recommend him if you are planning for any hair/skin related consultation. I still regularly followup with him and happy what I see so far. I have been told it takes a full year to see over 90% of the results. Cant wait to see it.
