We had the privilege of consulting Dr. Krishna Ramanathan, a truly exceptional doctor for our son’s adenoid surgery. From our very first interaction, she stood out for her warmth, patience, and genuine care. She was incredibly friendly with our 4-year-old, instantly putting him at ease, and made the entire experience far less intimidating for him. What impressed us the most was how accessible and supportive she was—always just a WhatsApp message away, promptly addressing every concern we had, both before and after the surgery. It’s rare to find a doctor so deeply invested in a patient’s entire journey, not just the procedure itself.

Before the surgery, our son had been struggling with persistent mouth breathing, fatigue, and frequent illnesses. It was difficult to see him constantly uncomfortable and low on energy.

Since the procedure, the improvement has been nothing short of remarkable. He now breathes normally, sleeps better, and is much more active and cheerful. The positive change in his overall health and quality of life has been truly reassuring for us as parents.

We are incredibly grateful for her care and dedication, and we would wholeheartedly recommend her to any parent facing a similar situation.

We already had a couple instances to visit her.

She's very polite, very friendly and she has a great knack of explaining things in an easily understandable way to a common man.

My mom had severe throat infections and was going to leave the country in a day with the worry if this will get aggravated once she enters the foreign land. Dr. Krishna Ramanathan thoroughly examined her and gave her the right medicines to help recover quickly.

More than the medicines and examination, she provided great reassurance to my mom that it's nothing major but a mere throat infection which helped her mentally.

She also went out of the way and suggested additional medicines incase if there's any other problems by taking the prescribed medicines since we would be out of the country.

She was spot on with the prescribed medicines and my mom's greatly recovered now.

Additionally, my brother recently also experienced throat infections and Dr. Krishna Ramanathan again suggested right medicines and he's seeing great improvements already.

Yesterday I had a consultation with Dr. Meghana M at Apollo Hospital, JP Nagar, yesterday. Unfortunately, I was quite disappointed with my experience.

I felt that the consultation was rushed, and I did not feel that my concerns were listened to properly. My cholesterol level was found to be high, and I expected a more detailed explanation and guidance regarding my condition and treatment. I tried to ask one or two questions, but I felt that I was not given sufficient opportunity to discuss my concerns.

I was also not clearly informed about how and when to take the prescribed medication, particularly whether it should be taken before or after food. I believe that such instructions are important for a patient to understand their treatment properly.

Overall, I felt that the communication and approach during the consultation could have been much better. I left the consultation feeling disappointed and dissatisfied.

I would appreciate it if Apollo Hospital could look into this feedback and ensure that patients are given adequate time, proper explanations, and clear medication instructions during consultations. I also request that patients be treated with the same level of attention and respect regardless of whether they are employees, corporate patients, or regular patients.
