Dr. P Chitra

My wife visited Dr. Chitra for Ultrasound during pregnancy, as suggested by Dr. Gayatri Kamat. As, she was pregnant with twins, we had to get ultrasound every 2 weeks to ensure babies are perfectly fine. She was so kind and compassionate. She never rushed to conclusions, with each patient she would spend quality time to ensure all details are covered.

We had our few scans in Fortis hospital, but as our case took more time, she suggested us to visit her in her clinic during evening time, when there are less patients. When we visited her at her clinic (Kartik Ultrasound), she took more than one hour to check each baby. She first checked first baby and found that second baby was in a breach position. Usually in this case doctor would ask patients to go home and come later, but Dr.Chitra told my wife to take rest and relax in her personal room. And after half an hour she checked for the second baby. She is extremely knowledgeable, professional and efficient.

She is a doctor committed to excellence. She goes out of her way to answer all our doubts. She even gave us a 3D images of our babies during 26th week ultrasound without asking(even without charging for it). We were so amazed and overwhelmed to see our babies before they were even born.

We were so fortunate to come across this radiologist during most important phase of life. She is extremely talented, brilliant and one of a kind.

I am truly impressed with my experience at Dr. Chitra. Getting an appointment with the doctor is really difficult. Though, I told my problem to the PR staff and luckily got an appointment for anamoly scan. My gynaecologist Dr. Suman asked me to get my anamoly scan done from Dr. Chitra because I got my scan done from another diagnostic center. The report says that 20 weeks fetus has short nasal bone, which is a strong indicator for down syndrome. My first contact was with PR staff through a short written message and I was completely blown away by how helpful and kind she was and how fast she was at getting back to me. We got an appointment for 26th Jan considering our case as an exceptional one. My appointment ran on time, Dr. Chitra was really knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable throughout the scanning procedure and counselling. She gave us extra time and attention, more than expected. I would highly recommend this doctor. She is extremely intelligent, a compassionate and caring person ,and a truly outstanding doctor. I count myself truly lucky to have found her. Still m half way to my pregnancy, now I have decided to get my each and every scan done at Karthik Ultrasound Center by Dr. Chitra :-)

When comes to the appoinment we are not happy. They always first come first serve then why the appoinment is given really no clue on this. Bad experience when comes to appoinment otherwise all well!

Dr chitra is a very patient doctor and friendly too, she listens and clears all our doubts with patience. The way she does the scan has impressed us so i took complete treatment from her till 9th month of my pregnancy and I had normal delivery in my native. She never scares us. Even if we got scared she will motivate and gives good suggestions. One best thing is if you have any emergency she responds over phone and meets without prior appointment if needed either in fortis or in her clinic.

I visited this Doctor due to word of mouth from one of my friend circle. I was well aware of waiting period for visit it was bit painful but worth. She is very supportive and explained the situation very well. She has extra ordinary capability as far as scanning is concerned. I will highly recommend her to all.

My appointment was at 12.20 pm .. I reached by 11.55 am .. reception lady not even know that we took appointment... then she wrote patient name in a book and asked us to wait for at least 1and half hour to 2 .. when I object she told she can’t do anything .. finally they called at 1.25 .. and again asked her to wait in a room for 25 min ..

Dr explained me USg report just 30 sec not more than that .. asked me to bring old scan report .. when I gave report to staff .. again 30 min .. finally they gave report without explaining anything .. I thought dr will explain me proper report . charged 2500 rs . If they give good service then payment is not issue .. otherwise not even worth able visit that clinic for 500 rs .

my whole day gone for 10min Scan .. but one good thing that Dr is Good ..I saw few google comments , many gave one star .. not for dr but for management.

Every thing superb. Except wait time. Appointment was 11:30 however we were allowed to see doctor only after one and half hour.

The Dr is very experienced. She took me through the details and shared feedback on baby's growth, movements. Thorough professional and a very good experience.

Staff members are very courteous. The only issue was the waiting time.

Treatment wise hospital is good .doctor is awesome.but there is delay in looking patients..please sort it out
