I had an undisplaced fracture of the mid‑shaft ulna after an accident on 1 October 2025, confirmed on X‑ray. On 7 October I told the doctor clearly that my wedding is in March and I am ready for surgery if needed because I do not want long‑term risk. He removed the plaster, gave painkillers, advised splint and sling, and asked me to review after a week with X‑ray. No specific treatment to support bone healing was started at that time.On 14 October and 30 October follow‑ups, the X‑rays showed the crack increasing, but I was told this is ‘normal before healing’ and not to worry. Only then some medicines were started and I was again asked to wait. On 12 November, the X‑ray showed no improvement, I again asked if surgery was needed so that I can recover before my wedding, but was told it was not required and to come after one month.On 18 December, the X‑ray showed the fracture line was much bigger than before. During this entire period I followed instructions, did not lift heavy weights or travel a lot, ***** ****** ********* I then took second and third opinions (one doctor in Pune and two in Mumbai) *** *** ** **** ******* **** ******* *** *** ******** *** **** ******* ************ ****** **** **** ****************** ** ***** * **** ******* ******* **** ****** ** ********* *** ** ***** ***** *** **** ******* * *** ** ****** *** ******** ******* This is my honest experience with this doctor and clinic. Based on what I went through, I personally would not go back here and would not recommend this clinic to others.”

Dr. Chikale understands your problem, makes you feel comfortable and is accessible at any time by phone. He is very empathetic! I recommend him to all those with orthopaedic pain.

I would like to share one of the few instances wherein I was suffering from terrible lower back pain and he had asked me to see me in Jehangir hospital. When I reached there, he had not yet finished with a critical surgery and we waited for a while. He had come early morning for this surgery and had skipped his breakfast. Though he had called us during lunchtime and he had taken a break of couple of minutes, he first came to consult me and went back to his surgery. Don't really know when he had food that day. Hats off to such doctors.
