Visited Dr. Varun Gogia (Ophthalmologist/ Eye Surgeon) For LASIK Eye Surgery
Happy with: Doctor friendliness
I visited the hospital today (23rd Sep'23) for a scheduled appointment managed by the Practo team. Despite arriving on time at around 3:30 or 3:45 PM, I had to wait for an extended period, approximately 2.5-3 hours, before finally seeing the doctor at 6:40 PM. The actual consultation with the doctor was quite brief, lasting only 1-2 minutes, after which my query was referred to a counselor who was in an equal hurry to conclude. In terms of the doctor's expertise and the solution provided, I found it satisfactory and efficient. However, I believe the overall experience could have been significantly improved by better management of the waiting times, as waiting for nearly 2.5 hours for a scheduled appointment was highly inconvenient and almost unprofessional. It demonstrates the incapability of the staff to manage things effectively. No one was remotely apologetic. It would be beneficial if the staff could ensure that patients do not have to wait excessively, ideally no more than 15-20 minutes.
Visited Dr. Varun Gogia (Ophthalmologist/ Eye Surgeon) For Eye Pain
Hoped for better: Explanation of the health issueTreatment satisfactionWait time
Despite taking an appointment was made to wait for an hour. Finally when the procedure began and had to get my dilation done, my husband went to remind the staff thrice to put the drops. Again, while all this took 2.5 hours we were told that the doctor is performing Operation and would take an hour more. After complaining several times gir the final consultation after 3 hours from the time of appointment. This was my first visit here after reading reviews on practo but not good experience at all. no value for patients time.

Visited Dr. Varun Gogia (Ophthalmologist/ Eye Surgeon)
This was my first RCT, and the doctor made the entire experience stress-free. He explained everything clearly, provided excellent care, and the treatment was completely painless. The staff were also very polite and supportive throughout. Highly recommended.
