Very glad to share my weight lose journey. During lock down I did a very valuable thing, that is weight loss. Within 3 months I lost 12 kgs, from 93 to 81.

Well it all started with poor eating habits, stress and irregular sleeping periods. I felt I put on some extra pounds, I can see in mirror, my clothes don’t fit anymore and I started feeling tired very often.

So, I decided to do a simple blood check - and I was surprised that am in a Pre-Diabetic state with a fatty liver and Vitamin D and B12 deficiency just at the age of 31 with 93Kgs.

My GP suggested me to consult a Nutritionist to get the things back in order.

When i received the diet chart, i realized that I have to stop almost 90% of my regular foods which we think is a normal south Indian food.

However, the diet chart is not challenging at all. She prepared the chart which suits my taste, easy to prepare and more importantly with more nutrients.

Within a month I lost around 6Kgs from 93. But, i got stuck at 87kgs and had a consultation, she realizes that its because of more toxins in the body and quickly planned a DETOX diet chart for 5 days (note this is a bonus)

And she is correct, I started to lose weight again. DT.Silky Mahajan is very knowledgeable and experienced to quickly read her client's health conditions.

At the end of the program I lost around 12Kgs and reached with simple and proper diet chart. She asked me to do a blood check again to realize the gains.

My liver has become healthy again, no more a pre-diabetic person, Vitamin D and B12 back to normal, no drama here:)

I have to say, DT. Silky Mahajan is one of the most important person I met in my life. Because, she changed the way I think of food, she changed my lifestyle.

I was first introduced to Silky through an online search for a dietitian. Normally the reviews speak a lot about a person but my choice to go to see Silky was ONLY because of my first visit and discussion with her. My very first meeting with her was extremely positive. I went to her with a mindset to lose 10 kgs in 6 months but after discussing my requirements with her she said that I could achieve my goal in just 3 months. With her positive attitude and confidence that I could get to my intended weight in 3 months boosted my confidence as well. I lost 10 kgs in 3 months and now I am feeling very healthy and happy. I would like to thanks Silky and Foods & Nutrition team for changing my thought process for dieting, I had always thought that eating less food or controlling your eat habit will help in reducing wait, but I was wrong. After meeting Silky she has explained about dieting phenomena and she help me to understand that eating less is not dieting, eating proportionate food is actually a dieting. She was very kind to understand the problem and help me as per my requirement and convenience. Her team was also very helpful they keep on doing follow up and never let you give up.

Before meeting silky I had drastically put on wait and it has affected by day to day life. My BP was on border line and had other vitamins deficiency also. In march 2020 my weight was around 82KG and after meeting silky, she had given commitment of bringing it down to 70KG in next three month and she actually helped me to do that. I was able to see the difference in first month itself, I had lost 5 kg weight in first month, 4 KG weight in second month and around 3 KG in first half of third month itself. It also help me to get physical fit and same time I have gain around 5% of muscles. Her 3 month diets plan was customized as per my body requirement and I never felt that I am missing any of my favorite dish.
