Mr Shishu Pal has been a Special Educator over 5 years. He worked in the SEN department of the school and teaches a 'whole language’ curriculum, which covers all aspects of communication: receptive and expressive language, decoding social cues and understanding emotions. Behavior modification, problem solving skills and functional living skills are included to help children with special needs become contributing members of the community. He has done Graduation in B.A Psychology and D.Ed Special Education in Autism. He is also a specialist in Behavior Therapy and works with children in mainstream classes, to help them not just with reading, writing and spelling but also in building their self-esteem. He conducts teacher training to empower mainstream teachers in understanding and teaching children with Dyslexia and Learning Difficulties.
