Dr. Umar Farouqi

Dr. Umar Farouqi is a Consultant Urologist, Andrologist / Sexologist and Renal Transplant Surgeon associated with Max Super Speciality hospitals at Greater Noida and Patparganj. He has more than 10 years of experience in the field of urology in various hospitals of repute all over India including NIMS Hyderabad, Yashoda Superspeciality Hospital Hyderabad, Max Urological Tertiary Care Centre Patparganj.He has special interests in Endo-urology, Uro-oncology, Laparoscopic Urological Surgery and Andrology ( Sexology ) related surgeries including a penile implant. He has performed more than 5000 endourological procedures like PCNL, Mini PERC, URS – Semirigid, Flexi URS (RIRS ), Endopyelotomy (Holium YAG laser), TURP, Bipolar TURP (TURIS), LASER enucleation of the prostate (HOLEP), TURBT (Bladder Cancers), Optical Internal Urethrotomy. He has been a part of more than 200 renal transplant surgeries. He is a gold medalist of his batch in MS. He has publications in national and international journals of repute and also has a book chapter to his credit. He has been as a delegate to various international and national conferences. He has undergone training in advanced laparoscopic surgery in CEmast Mumbai. He has the credit to establish the department of urology in Max Greater Noida. He has organized the urinary incontinence CME in Max Patparganj. He has been associated with many social service organizations like Delhi Child Centre to fulfill his commitment to society.
