Dr. Sarita Chauhan

Dr. Sarita is very genuine, courteous and diligent in her approach to providing therapy.She understood my issues very well, assessed me patiently and provided a precise diagnosis. Without any unnecessary delays she begun my counseling and helped me work through my disorder. She even connected me to some people to give me better perspective on career-related doubts when I was struggling through something apart from my disorder. While maintaining the purview of her profession, she stays humble and helpful.Her methods not only confine to the sessions, as she makes us take on certain healthy habits in life and enroll in activities that go beyond our prevailing treatment.I am glad that I went to seek her help. She is quite reliable and comforting.

After my brothers sudden demise, my parents were highly depressed. They were reluctant to visit any specialist for this due to their lack of faith in this speciality but as situation only got worse they finally agreed to see a psychologist in October 2020. We consulted Ma'am. Both of my parents were diagnosed with severe depression. Ma'am treated them for few months, she was always available on call or on whatsapp for us. Weekly counseling sessions were also taken by her. The treatment ended in February. I was afraid that depression will kick in once medicine is stopped but to my surprise things changed and are ever since only improving with every day. The credit goes to the doctor. She changed the life of my family.

She listened to my issues very patiently and explained the reasons and all the technicalities very well. She gave me enough time to express myself and to decide whether I wanted to opt for medication or not. She even explained the isuue using enough examples including real-life ones. Talking to her felt very seamless and gave me the confidence to work on my problems. Once she even offered a session free of cost because I had to wait for quite some time. This shows her dedication and truthfulness towards her work. ❤

All I would say is that there is a huge difference between the state of mind when I first went to consult her, and now. I was anxious most of the times, I started believing things that were mere imaginations. Due to her guidance and support I am now in a much much better state. She is polite, moreover, she gives positive vibes which makes me feel good every time I visit her. She talks as if a friend and with the much needed understanding and zero judgement; things that even the closest of relatives lack. I would advise anybody who has anxiety or low self esteem or even if one feels low most of the time, should go meet her because one won't regret it at all.
