Hello All,
I want to share my medical story here since anyone can be at my place and this incident might prove helpful to any individual.
Last year I went outside India for work purpose. After a few months I started to develop red rashes throughout my arms and legs. I thought its just a minor skin infection and did not pay much heed as I was in a foreign land. When I returned back to India, within a few days started to develop slight back pain and then I decided to go to an Orthopaedic doctor. He saw my MRI reports and adviced me to undergo a minor surgery since I had osteomyelitis which had led to puss formation. Got operated and took all the required post operative antibiotics for 10 days. I started to recover and feel much better.During operation all the required tests were done including AFB culture, AFB smear, Histopathology etc and were negative. But the TB PCR showed I had MDR TB (very low).
Taking the advice of my Ortho doctor, I went to consult an Infectious Disease Specialist and then he started my ATT treatment seeing the TB PCR in which low MDR TB was detected. I had to take around 15 tablets in a day , all heavy dosage antibiotics, and hence started to get pukish feeling, dizziness, breathing difficulty, joint pain etc which were all the side effects of this treatment. Initially we went to the doctor every week and then consulted him biweekly but my condition was staying the same. The treatment continued for 3 months but my condition was deteriorating every passing day. I thought of consulting another doctor since these medications were doing no good and I was losing faith in myself. Then I found Dr Nishit on Practo and consulted him with all the prior history and investigations. He heard me patiently, understood all my problems .
He advised me to immediately stop ATT and get MRI, blood and TB PCR test done again. All the reports came and it seemed all fine. I had no TB. He explained me that TB PCR is very sensitive test and can detect some other bacteria also which may result in positive report. The reason for osteomyelitis was found that my skin infection has spread to my back bone due to a small injury which I ignored before.
He told me that ATT medicines should be started only after being clinically confirmed too.
The day I stopped those medicines I started to feel that I got my life back. No vomiting, no dizziness, no body pain, everything stopped.
I started moving around like before. I got a new life.
Dr Nishit advised me some multivitamins to be taken so that they can reduce the adverse effects of ATT. The ATT was damaging my liver also.
Its almost more than a month and I am back living my normal life.
I am so thankful that I consulted him and he took such an adverse decision to stop ATT in middle after confirming it from all ends . But it all worked out so well and now I am recovering quickly back to being a healthy individual.
Thank you Doctor.

I am 36/M, native of haridwar, I had bilateral avascular necrosis of hip, I had visited eminent doctors in saharanpur for my hip pain.
For 3 years, AVN was missed, later one doctor diagnosed and suggested bilateral hip replacement.
I visited Dr Nishit in May 2019, he told me I have AVN grade 2 in right and Grade 3 in Left hip. He talked about conserving the femoral head. Although not indicated in Grade 3, he told it's worth trying to save the femoral head.
I took time to decide, had various opinions in between, finally got the procedure in October 2019. Bilateral core decompression, PRP and Fibula Grafting.
Incisions were no more than 1 inch. Truely minimally invasive as told initially. I started walking in 3rd week post surgery. Before that I was doing my mobilisation while on the bed, sitting and lying down. And I was off painkillers 6 days post surgery till today.
Initially I could take 2-3 painkillers everyday, still very minimal pain relief was there. I am a driver by profession, today I am back to my profession, family life has improved for sure as I am the only bread earner of my family, I am quiet happy.
During this 4 year journey, I believe I have come across many doctors, alternative medicine professional.. Promising supernatural stuff, but to my experience none of them work, instead hip goes on degenerating at its own speed.
My advice.. As and when diagnosed, earlier the better one should proceed for the proper treatment. Doc's advice was straight, and short. It really changed my perspective of looking at my problem.
Thanks Doc Nishit.

Happy that inspire of surgical reconstruction I don’t have any metal inside my knee .

I am abhijit, 28/Male from West Bengal. I was suffering from Right thigh pain, discharge of Bony pieces and pus from my bone since 2013.
I was diagnosed with Right Osteomyelitis Femur. Dr Nishit talked to me, made me realise the pathology and how he is going to deal with this situation.
Whereas, I was counselled for operation from elsewhere, He said that we will try medical management, as my blood markers were stable indicating low infection process.
My condition improved with the medications, pain reduced, I gained weight and I started working in my Ashram after 6 months.
I am pretty sure my experience will give way for people like me to get through to Dr Nishit and all become well like me.
Thank you Dada.

Hi
My Mother fell down at station while coming from my Hometown and her elbow got dislocated. She spent more than 24 hrs with dislocated hand in train and reached Delhi. I took her to Dr. Nishit Palo for the first treatment and he responded very quickly looking into the situation. We got relaxed after understanding his findings. Dr. Nishit treated my Mother in such a way that she never felt any pain during her treatment.
My Mother is absolutely fine now and doing her day to day work in as usual manner.
Thanks to Dr. Nishit for treating my Mother and making her comfortable.

I have advanced rheumatoid arthritis, I was out on methotrexate only by my doc. The medication was causing reactions in my body.
Dr Nishit evaluated the situation and my body composition, took me off MTX and started baseline anti Rheumatoid arthritis medications.
He emphasised on osteoporosis management, suggested me special medications for Osteoporosis. I was using a wrong belt for spine support, which he corrected and suggested the Taylors Brace. For my bent spine.
I'm feeling better now.
Would reccomend Dr Nishit for rheumatoid and osteoporosis management.
Thanks doc.
