I consulted Dr Malik for my pregnancy (at 34 years). Considering my age and excessively sedentary lifestyle and stressful work life, I didn't have much hope honestly for a normal delivery but it's all thanks to Dr Malik's clear directions and strict instructions that I had a normal vaginal delivery after spontaneous labour. I fully agree with the other positive reviews here, her strictness or unfiltered advice seems to be misconstrued as rudeness, however I have found Dr Malik to be very helpful and cordial. It takes a lot of self control and strong will to sustain through and post pregnancy, Dr Malik was very clear in terms of what is needed by the patient and caregivers on food, workout and breathing exercises. She understood the constraints of my work life and suggested ways to work around it to be adequately active and well nourished. She was a strong proponent of normal delivery and following her instructions to the tee made it possible for me. The best part about her consultation was the constant assurance that pregnancy is not a disease, deliveries happened long before doctors existed, so go about it as normally as you would go about anything else, that helped maintain mental sanity which was extremely crucial. She supported elderly wisdom wherever relevant and guided against any misinformation. Even in the hardest moments of labour pain, I have vivid recollection of her encouraging words in the delivery room. She is good when you have all the reports and everything with u but if you forget something which is quite possible as she prescribes a lot of tests then she will talk very rudely.
