Dr. Avita Maurya (PhD)

Dr Avita Maurya did P.G. Diploma in Psychotherapy, Counselling and Guidance (2006) and PhD in Clinical Psychology (2010) from M.G.Kashi Vidyapith, Varanasi. Dr Avita did internship training in RINPAS, Kanke, Ranchi. She has more than ten years in-depth experience of psychodiagnostic testing like mental status examination, Rorschach Ink BlotTest, TAT along with counselling, Cognitive behaviour therapy(CBT)and psychotherapy for treatment of stress disorders, Phobic disorder, depression, OCD and psychosomatic disorders. She has also conducted counselling to resolve and help the clients for marital and adolescent problems and various personal life trauma.She has already experience as psychologist and psychotherapist in Asha-Deep Institute of Mental Health, Varanasi since 2006 to 2015. Under the guidance of renowned clinical and health psychologist Prof. Dr Anand Kumar, Former Professor and Head, Department of Psychology, & now, President, Indian Academy of Health Psychologist.
