When I first met with her, I was very stressed and didn't know what kind of help I needed. Dr. Ashima Ranjan listened to me completely and showed me deep respect and empathy. I visited Dr. Ashima along with my mother for her depression treatment. My mother who was taking treatment from CMC ludhiana from past several years but is not suiting her. I visited the doctor during Corona pandemic. I was facing depression issues, sleeplessness, general anxiety and a pressing health issue, redressed of which was getting postponed due to Corona. I was under tremendous stress, anxiety and restlessness. Due to loss of sleep, appetite and concentration, I could not carry out normal household activities. After trying some home remedies, advice from family and friends, I realized that only professional help could get me out of the mess.

I consulted the doctor as I had a problem of difficulty concentrating and focussing from childhood which were causing problems in the professional life. I was given some medication but unfortunately improvement was minimal. I was not explained why I was getting certain medication although I trust a professional judgement. After a few consultations I shared more personal information and asked about the next appointment. I was told that she would get back to me which never happened. This is very unprofessional and not expected at all. I would have been informed if treatment was not possible further.

Dr Ashima is a very calm listener and understand her patient’s issue very well. I am undergoing the treatment under her guidance and i am extremely satisfied with the course she mentioned and the way she handle the queries. She is a well experienced doctor, which is evident by the fact that she speaks little(about medicine course and help patient to feel better) but allow her patient to talk about even the minute things. I would definitely recommend Dr Ashima regarding any emotional or stress related issues.

I was suffering since past 5 years. Changed many doctors and have gone treatement for a very long time..i was irritated by the eating so many medicine. when i consulted Dr. Ashima i wasn't sure about the treament.
