Dr. Ashish Goel has over 25 years experience in oncology and oncosurgery. He has keen interest in Thoracic Oncology, Breast Oncology and Head Neck Oncosurgery. He is equally trained in treating Gastrointestinal, Genitourinary and Gynaecological cancers. His expertise includes Lung Surgery, Surgery for Oral Cancer, Esophageal Cancer Surgery, Surgery for Laryngeal Cancer, Thyroid Surgery, Limb Salvage Surgery, Gastrointestinal Cancer Surgery, Surgery for Uterine and Ovarian Cancer, Mastectomy and Breast Conservation Surgery, Oncoplasty and Sentinel Node Biopsy.Dr. Goel is is popular among his patients as well as colleagues for his vision, clinical expertise, dedication and patient centric approach. He completed his medical graduation and post graduation (MS Surgery) from J N Medical College, Aligarh; followed by DNB (Surgical Oncology) from National Board of Examinations. He has also been awarded P B Desai UICC Fellowship in Oncology from Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai. He is a keen researcher and has published several articles in national journals of repute. He has also been a DNB teacher. Presently he is the Convenor for Delhi Thoracic Oncology Group. He is a Life Member of some prestigious organizations like Association of Surgeons of India (ASI), Indian Association of Surgical Oncology, Federation for Head Neck Oncology (FHNO), Indian Society of Oncology (ISO) and Indian Laryngology Society. His previous appointments were as Senior Consultant at BLK Cancer Center and as Consultant Surgical Oncology at Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute & Research Centre, Delhi. Prior to this he was Specialist Registrar at Tata Memorial Hospital Mumbai, Assistant Professor at Cancer Hospital & Research Institute Gwalior & Specialist Registrar at Mahavir Cancer Sansthan & Research Centre Patna. Dr. Ashish Goel has also undergone training in Thoracic Oncology from Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Centre New York, USA, and Samsung Medical Centre, Seoul, Korea. He has also been trained in Head and Neck Surgery and Laser Surgery from Department of Head & Neck Surgery, University of Brescia, Italy and Peritoneal Surface Surgery, CRS, and HIPEC from Department of Surgical Oncology, Catharina Hospital, Eindhoven, Netherlands.
