Dr. Ashima Srivastava (PhD)

I attended session for anxiety and expressive arts and can feel the difference in me. Highly recommend her because of her polite way of talking and she makes complex things so simple and easy to grasp. Dr. Ashima Srivastava is one of the best psychologists and is very approachable. Her sessions are very effective and impactful. I’ll definitely recommend her services.

I feel I have really progressed and She has also helped me understand my personality better and I am now practicing and learning to counter the issues I have, personally and professionally. Very Disappointing I would not recommend her setup *** *** ********* ****** ** *** ******* ** **** Please do not seek help from her. As per my experience we spent 3000 rs for one visit for one of my relative. But not getting value for the money. She was just listening. I thought she would be speaking much so that the couple get her words, but not the case. And then she was in hurry to attend next patient.

she has not spoken much with patient. She just suggested for next visit. why would patient visit next when dr is not counselling and giving any vocal therapy.

It wasn’t good! On my first appointment I had to wait for 20-30 minutes. And after contacting Practo’s customer care, the doctor finally joined the call and told me she couldn’t really take a session at that cuz of some family situation.

I understood and we kept the appointment for the next day, however the next day too, I was the one calling her and following up. She told me to call her yet again to confirm the timings. I called yet again and it went unanswered.

Now the doctor was a sweet lady and all. She was polite to me! And I also understand that she too could have an emergency back at home. My only concern here is that being a doctor, one should have the same empathy for the patients.

Especially when it comes to mental health, a doctor should know that it takes a lot of courage to seek a doctor’s advice in the first place and hence it should be taken seriously. Someone could be just one step away from taking a bad decision, and toiling with them like this can make things worse. You expect a next level understanding from a mental health doctor. That’s all I expected! One should at least ask how severe the patient’s situation is and act accordingly.

The doctor was immensely busy in preparing someone else's confidential psychological report, typing and clicking various options income of the application on her PC. Further she was too focussed on instructing her junior on what to do and how to proceed with that report she wa preparing.

I think psychologist ain job os to lend a listening ear to patient AMD ask questions and help conclude. The doctor seems little or not interested in patient was was quite active in recommending to see a psychiatric who then I discovered was her husband. Quite responsive and active in noting down when O would want to come back next and took my contact numbers ti call e to setup an appointment.

Doctors need to understand tt they arr not selling a product is empathy and consultation that tey need to extend. The job of psychologist is not to tell that I am right and the other person is wrong but help the patient get out of mental stigma and situation.

I perhaps feel the doctor herself is in need if some consultation to be more professional in what she has chosen to do.

Dr. Ashima is a wonderful counsellor! My experience with Dr. has been great so far.

She is a great listener with compassion and wisdom.

Dr. Ashima truly understand the issues I need to discuss and guides me to clear steps for getting through them. I always feel better after talking to her. I feel I have really progressed and benefitted from our weekly sessions.

After about 3 months of therapy, I feel stronger and more in control, I trust and respect myself more. My behaviour has improved and I’m a happier person. I also feel more comfortable expressing myself, showing different sides of me to others and letting them show theirs to me.

I would recommend everyone to Dr Ashima Srivastava. Although i had read negative feedbacks still i chose to visit her once. I think it was my wise decision. She is an amazing Dr, I liked her clinic and staff also the way doctor manages everything. I nearly gave up that my mental health illness can't be treated also I had gone 2 more therapist before. But the help i was looking for and the issues i had been struggling with for last 2 years have been resolved in 2 - 3 sessions. God had send an angel for my help, can't thank her enough she has completed changed my life. Would like to recommend her highly.

Dr Ashima Srivastava is a highly competent and experienced psychologist. She has been a great support to me throughout the entire process of my recovery in 6-7 sessions. She is a patient listener and compassionate. In the time of crisis, she has always been accessible and helpful. The best part about her is being non judgemental and quite empathetic. She is my third therapist and choosing her over others was my wise decision. My personal experience with her was outstanding. I would highly recommend her.

I went to get my 4year old son assessed for speech delay, I had visited quite a few child development clinics in the past, even the few top rated ones, all to realize that the kind of treatment, knowledge, patient handling, parent handling , child handling was a class apart for dr. Ashima Srivastav. I have never come across such a fine psychologist and would recommend her highly, specially for child development related issues, as I know for sure .. that no doctor can handle such a tough field as effortlessly as her. I say this because when you are a mother, and you face problems with your own child, you tend to be very sensitive towards the whole situation. She is empathic, soft spoken, makes you feel very comfortable , highly skilled and knows her forte !
