Dr. Amrit Goel

The doctor explained everything properly and I had a positive experience overall. I would recommend Dr. Amrit Goel to others. However, the wait time at the clinic was longer than expected.

I was infected by COVID Delta variant last year during second wave. My infection was severe, HRCT score was 25/25 with 90% of my lungs infected with Lung Fibrosis. I was in the ICU for 26 days on full Oxygen Flow 24/7. Lost 25 KG weight in initial 10 days of COVID infection. When I was discharged from hospital I was still susceptible to COVID 19 complications and had to remain on 24/7 Oxygen supply at home.

I started my treatment with Dr. Amrit Kumar Goel From July 2021, little over 1 month of being discharged from hospital, my condition was still extremely poor couldn't walk without walker, walking just a few steps would leave me panting for breath, ongoing follow-up consultations with Doctors from my hospital wasn't helping. I was impacted to the point that daily motions and urine passing would cause me to loose breath even with 5L oxygen at full flow.

At this point Dr. Goel turned out to be a life saver, on first meeting itself after seeing my condition he advised me for CTPA Angio to rule out any lung clots which would have otherwise been fatal. Once that was rules out, he put me on antifibrotics for 15 days. On next follow up when he noticed poor recovery, he advised further tests through which I was diagnosed ANA positive non categorized. From here on he put me on corticosteroid to mellow down my hyperactive immune system which was impeding my recovery, following which my recovery skyrocketed, here 1.5 years hence, with less than 20% of my lung still impaired and still recovering, I can vouch for Dr. Goel with all my life. Without his timely and expert intervention my recovery from 90% - 20% would have still been a dream. It was a long and arduous recovery process with several follow ups periodic tests and CT Scans to check on recovery, fine tuning medical intervention, now here I am feeling as good as before, without any dependence on oxygen able to lead my life as normally as nothing ever happened. Would highly recommend Dr. Goel to everyone, would like to convey my heartfelt gratitude for saving my life.

I do not recommend Dr. Amrit Goel based on my experience.

Dr Amrit is quite experienced *** *************. He's been treating my brother for various ailments for more than a month now and we have seen quite good results. My brother has Asthma but pre-Diwali, it got so much worse that he was breathless even when trying to stand up and was going through 4-5 inhalers a day and unable to walk without support. His skin allergies were off the charts kind of bad with itchiness, redness and white flakes peeling and falling all over the place. Dr suggested to admit to hospital immediately and he took good care of my brother and he is all better now with ongoing treatment of remaining issues. An allergy test was done to identify the foods/ other factors causing the increase in allergies which was never a plan of action by any doctors that we visited in the past and so didn't get the satisfactory results because they couldn't figure out the root cause but this time was different and we hope for a full recovery. I would highly recommend to visit Dr Amrit for any lungs/skin issues.

Wonderful experience of visiting AIMS hospital. They have super specialty clinic with the name INTERNATIONAL ADVANCED ASTHAMA CLINIC. The clinic is equipped with all facilities which includes allergy lab, PFT, allergy skin testing. I have been diagnosed appropriately and have been consul about medicines very well. It has been more than 5 years I have been suffering from decease but was never aware of small tips about the decease. I was surprised that I don't even know the appropriate techniques of using inhalers which has been excellently taught by Dr. Amrit. After taking treatment for about 15 days I am feeling very much better both for my asthama and skin allergy.
