Dr. Ankur Goswami

Ankur Goswami is a highly experienced Senior Consultant Spine Surgeon with over 15 years of expertise in spine surgery. His extensive career is marked by international training, fellowships, and a deep commitment and passion to treat a wide spectrum of spinal conditions as a consultant across various regions, including India, Nigeria, and the United Kingdom.Dr. Goswami completed his senior residency in Orthopaedics in 2010 at AIIMS, New Delhi. This was followed by a long-term spine training under Prof. Arvind Jayaswal, a pioneering spine surgeon in the Indian subcontinent, as a Pool Officer (Senior Research Associate in a CSIR-funded project) for three years. This period was crucial in shaping his skills, particularly in paediatric spinal deformities alongside other routine spine surgeries.He further honed his expertise through the Asia Pacific Spine Society (APSS) Fellowship at Hong Kong University under the mentorship of Prof. Keith D.K. Luk and Prof. Man-Chee Kenneth Cheung, and later in Denver, Colorado with Dr. Michael Edward Janssen.Dr. Goswami also underwent an 18-month Complex Clinical Fellowship in Spine Surgery at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust (2021–2022), followed by a 6-month Complex Spine Surgery Fellowship at the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in the UK.
