I have known Dr. Varsha since before COVID, and ever since I first consulted her, I have never had to worry about my skin. She has an exceptional ability to understand exactly what treatment is needed—and, more importantly, how much treatment is actually necessary. Today, however, I want to talk about something far beyond dermatology.

I immediately flew from Bangalore to Patna and reached out to several reputed hospitals, including Fortis, Apollo, Medanta, and AIIMS. Everywhere I contacted, the response was the same: "Bring the patient first, then the doctor will see." The challenge was that my sister was in no condition to be moved without any assurance that she would be admitted and treated.
When I had almost exhausted all options, I reached out to Dr. Varsha. I even asked whether I should arrange to fly my sister to Bangalore because, after reviewing her photographs, she was able to identify the disease and immediately knew what needed to be done.
However, knowing that transferring my sister in her condition would be extremely difficult, Dr. Varsha did something I can never forget. Within hours, she reached out to one of her senior colleagues/friend, who was connected with the Head of the Dermatology Department at AIIMS Patna—a specialist in this very disease. She personally coordinated, followed up continuously, and ensured that we were able to get my sister admitted. Even after admission, she continued checking on us and guiding us whenever required.
Anyone familiar with AIIMS knows how difficult it is to even secure an appointment, let alone receive timely admission. Yet, in one of the most desperate moments of our lives, Dr. Varsha became the bridge that made it possible.
Over the last fifteen days, I met several doctors, visited multiple hospitals, and spent several lakhs on treatment. ************** **** ** ***** *********** **** ************** ******* ****** ************ ***** * *** **** ****** ***** ******* ***** ******** *** **** ** ********** *** *** ******** ****** *** ** **** ** *** ******** ******* ** ** **** ****** ** *** ******* On one occasion, when I tried explaining my sister's condition with her medical history and photographs because she was too ill to travel, I was made to feel as though I was asking for something unreasonable instead of receiving guidance.
These experiences left me feeling helpless at a time when all I wanted was the right treatment for my sister.
That is what makes Dr. Varsha so extraordinary. While she was sitting in Bangalore and had absolutely no obligation to help us, she patiently listened, understood our situation, connected us with the right specialists, and stayed with us throughout the journey. Her support was never limited to medical advice—it was emotional, reassuring, and deeply humane.
Today, it has been almost two weeks. While Pemphigus Vulgaris is not a curable disease, it is treatable and can be managed effectively with proper medication, regular follow-ups, and lifestyle changes. Thanks to timely intervention and the guidance Dr. Varsha helped us receive, my sister is recovering well and is expected to be discharged soon. She now has every reason to look forward to living a normal life.
Dr. Varsha is much more than an exceptional dermatologist. She is an extraordinary human being.
She called us regularly, replied to messages whenever she could, and even took time to comfort my sister, reassuring her that everything would be alright. Even while her own daughter was unwell, she still found time to check on us. That level of empathy, compassion, and selflessness is something I will never forget.
She has always been approachable, humble, and incredibly patient. Whether it is a medical concern or just an anxious question, she listens without judgment and responds whenever she gets the opportunity. That has been true from the day I first met her—not just during this difficult phase.
In a profession where expertise is expected, compassion is what truly sets someone apart. Dr. Varsha possesses both in abundance.
Our family will always remain grateful for everything she has done. She didn't just help us find the right treatment—she gave us hope when we had almost lost it. In many ways, she gave my sister a second chance at life.

Had a consultation regarding Pigmentation, Doctor Varsha C B is very friendly , listens to patients problem and replies to each and every query with patience. For those who wants a Doctor who listen to your each and every query and get your doubts cleared i would highly recommend consulting her.
She was very professional. Diagnosed the symptoms very well, after going through the images sent by us. Was very attentive and gave a patient hearing to all that we had to say. Prescribed two medicines. Will revert with the effectiveness after a month though 🙏
