A gold medallist in Senior Secondary Certificate exam from his school and an outstanding student from Ramnivas Ramnarain Ruia college for Higher Secondary Certificate exam, he completed his graduation (MBBS) from prestigious Topiwala National Medical College in Mumbai. He completed his post-graduation (MS) from Bharati Hospital in Sangli, where he again stood as gold medallist in the University. He then completed his surgical training for phacoemulsification under well known surgeon and teacher Dr.Anil Kulkarni from Miraj, Maharashtra. Currently he is attached with prestigious Aditya Jyot Eye Hospital (AJEH) in Mumbai as an Anterior Segment Consultant and Surgeon.
