Radius Joint Surgery Hospital would not have been possible without the pioneer surgeon Dr. Sanjai Kumar Srivastava. He made a very modest beginning from a small clinic named scope joint care clinic at lekhraj, indira nagar lucknow. This effort was continued in the form of a new hospital in the Gomti Nagar in the name of Radius Joint Surgery Hospital.Dr. Sanjai kumar srivastava did his M.B.B.S and M.s. Ortho from K.G.M.C. Lucknow and obtained further expertise from Orthonova Institute delhi for couple of years. A breakthrough came in after the training from exeter England (centre for joint replacement at u.K.) in his approach and experience regarding orthopaedics, knee replacement and other surgeries. Since then there was no looking back. He enriched himself with knowledge and training from various institutes world over and acquired surgical skills par excellence and passed on this benefit to his patients. He holds an experience of more than 2500 arthroscopic surgeries of knee, shoulder, ankle, wrist, elbow and hip and more than 3500 joint surgeries, including hip and knee replacement and revision surgeries. He is proud owner of membership of american academy of orthopedic, which is not easy to obtain. The highlights of his operative techniques are short stay at hospital and early recovery even after major surgeries like knee replacement which means back to work and normal life early. He is passionate about passing his knowledge to other fellow doctors and juniors and hence takes active participation in cme, workshops, training courses in india and abroad. He intends to continue this trend at radius joint surgery hospital too.

Happy with:Â Doctor friendlinessWait time
Being a patient, very and one of the most important thing which is seen in Dr. Sanjay Kumar Srivastava is ease to communication and he is not at all arrogant even after being pioneer in his field of expertise. Rest it was good consultation as 1st time visitor, my left hand head radius was fractured and firstly senior Orthopedic doctor of Radius Hospital (Mr. Praveen Kumar) examined the case in a very systematic way & supported very well including lab examination, I still remember lab technician was not done CT scan exactly as per doctor's prescribed specification & criteria but doctor has personally intervened and film is re-issued without further any kind of implication. Further Dr. Sanjay Kumar Srivastava has taken-up the case, suggested for an immediate surgery, I have also not delayed and got immediately admitted. So far surgery is done successfully and I am waiting for further successful recovery.I would not like to forget to quote that all the nursing staff are very good, caring & active in this hospital. Even during admission, discharge & billing reception staff was very helpful. So far things has gone well....but as still I am under recovery stage hence expect to provide further feedback with smiley face after successful recovery from Radius umbrella. You have to be gently ready for little wait time in Radius Hospital.
Happy with:Â Doctor friendliness
Dr. Sanjai Kumar Srivastava is very friendly and with a smiley face. The hospital is nicely maintained. The staff is good and friendly. I would like to put forth some area of improvement: the appointment can be over telephone with online payment and fixed time appointment with not more than half hour wait.
Happy with:Â Doctor friendliness
The dr was good his smiling face halved my pain.but i feel there shud be some place for patients to sit who have to observe some protocol.besides one visit for registration and one for consultation would be burdensome for patients without attendants. Justice ranjanapandya20@gmail.com

My appointment was on 4th August. No. 404 was allotted to me by the reception to enable me to consult Dr Dr Srivastava with the latest MRI report. I may point out that on previous dates the doctor had himself directed me to come only with report & not the patient since she was advised by him not to walk.
However on 4th,the doctor conveniently ignored his own instructions & used language unbecoming of a doctor( jab man hoga tahelte hui chale ayenge). He not only misbehaved in front of other patients but also refused to give any advice. According to him despite paying his consultatio fee of Rs 700.00 I was not entitled for any advice. Not only this, without my consent I have come to know that a false appointment was generated in the patient's name for 7th.
This amounts to deficiency in service as well and unfair professional conduct by the doctor & his staff.
It is worthwhile to mention here that this doctor never keeps an appointment. His timing for the so called OPD starts from 5 pm but he invariably sits at 7 pm on the false pretexts that he is performing opearation. How is it possible that almost every day he is in OT throughout the day? In any case, when he himself has appointed 5 pm as the hour for consultation, to cause repeated delays in attending his patient's, who come from far off places, not only amounts to deficient service but also unfair practice which is unbecoming of a professional
It appears that deliberate & intentional delays are caused just to collect a big crowd of patients.
The tokens are not given in one serial order. Rather in four series. They are not called in one order. Rather randomly from any series. Thus, keeping the patient's in dark about their timing
Now to call me for another appointment at 7 pm & thereby force me to cough up another Rs.1000.00( he charges Rs 1000.00 from 7 pm onwards)
instead of consulting me on 4th when I had already paid Rd 700.00 amounts to unfair professional conduct on the part of Doctor & unfair trade practice on the part of RADIUS HOSPITAL.
Yours faithfully

I was told by doctor to sit on examination chair. I was surrounded by couple of patients standing and eagerly waiting for me to finish. That was very embarrassing.
I was with the doctor for may be 5-6 minutes. He just had a glance at my MRI and the report.
He gave me a proscription including Methylcobalamin injection 1500 MCG. I later found out that it is a vitamin B12. He should have asked about my B 12 level and also my blood report. My B 12 level is 986. Much above the normal range which is 200--500.
Doctor is very good but Radius Joint Surgery Hospital is one of the worst Hospital I have seen ever. Doctor has not enough time for patients and all the staffs in the hospital are very much arrogant. I have gone through shoulder's (arthroscopy) surgery. According to Doctor, he didnt put any implant in shoulder his staff charged me additional 30000 inr for shoulder implant.
There are nobody in hospital to help in this regard.
My appointment was fixed at 5.00PM even then I was treated as walk in patient , Doctor came to Clinic at 5.30 PM. He started to see the various reports of different patients. At around 7.30 PM I was called that too on my showing resentment. Thereafter, he recommended for some x rays, which was done there it self. The second call was also done after 40 mts to see the x-ray reports. A very poor management. There is no adherence to discipline by staff.
Visited For Neck Pain Treatment
Doctor was friendly and treatment was good. Had to wait only 20min over the appointed time. For some reason the doctor hesitated to inform his patient name of the medical problem. Even his prescription mentions only "Pain" as the diagnosis. I had to find out the name of the problem from one of his other doctor colleague at the hospital. A highly reputable doctor like Dr. Sanjai K Srivastava should remember that it is legal responsibility of the doctor to inform and also the legal right of the patient to know his/her medical problem both verbally as well as in written. I would definitely visit again if the distance wasn't an issue for me.
Visited For Shoulder Pain
Nice feeling. Dr saheb explain very easily including my old injuries. I am thankful to him as advised real diagnosis. I suggest patient those who taken appointment in advance should be informed approximately time and who do take same day current appointment should be advised approximate time. Thanks.
