Ruby General Hospital is a 316-bed multi-speciality hospital at 576 Anandapur Main Road, Kasba, Kolkata 700107, near the junction of Rash Behari Avenue and the EM Bypass. Established in 1995, it was Eastern India's first NRI hospital. It is NABH-accredited and ISO 9001:2015 certified, and runs 42 specialty departments with over 200 consultants and 50 in-house doctors.The Ruby Cancer Centre was Eastern India's first NABH-accredited cancer centre. It offers radiation oncology using Varian TrueBeam linear accelerator technology, with IMRT, IGRT, VMAT and SBRT. Wider services include cardiology, oncology, neurology, orthopaedics and nephrology.Clinical infrastructure includes five operation theatres, a cath lab, ICU, ITU and NICU, alongside pathology, radiology and dialysis. Emergency and trauma care run 24 hours with round-the-clock ambulance cover. Bed capacity is planned to expand to 556.The hospital is open 24 hours, all seven days.
