SSKM hospital

Established in 1707, the SSKM Hospital, formally known as Seth Sukhlal Karnani Memorial Hospital, is one of the oldest and largest government hospitals in Bhowanipore, Kolkata, West Bengal, India. The hospital still has intact the lab of Sir Ronald Ross, who discovered the cycle of the malarial parasite and won the 1902 Nobel Prize in Physiology/medicine for his research.
