Dr Smita was the pioneer doctor to start Waterbirthing, the pro normal birthing technique, in Rajasthan. Being a proponent of gentle birth principle, she introduced this natual and minimally painful method of childbirth. Besides, her expertise lie in safe delivereis for high risk and complicated pregnancies like pregnencies of patients with hypertension, heart problems, recurrent pregnancy loss, bad obstretic histories, epilepsy and acute medical illness like dengue, high fever, pneumnitis, pancreatitis etc. Over the years, she has performed advance laproscopic procedures for hytectromies (removal of uterous), myomectomies (removal of uterine fibroids), ovarian cysts, tubal recanalizations and infertility surgeries too.
