Dr. Kannan Ramaswamy

Undoubtly Dr.Kannan has vast experience. I strongly recommend him for any pediatric gastroenterology issues, because that's what I have experienced when I consulted him for my son's abdominal issues. Please note one thing pediatric issues are different from adult issues and you need doctor who can handle pediatric cases well.

Doctor visited our 5 month baby in picu (Feb 2019)

Guided the paed. doctor to do tests that helped to analyse the situation and evaluate the next steps

Explanation was simple and in clear layman terms

Basically they work as team at sagar hospital

Overall happy for my son and recommend dr Kannan sir for gastro problems

I do not recommend thid Dcotor. The Doctor was not welcoming at all. First question what he asked if the child was special child or normal child, this was a very bad question to ask any parent. He kept on telling and telling and didn't even listen to our actual problem. He was scolding us for not getting referral letter from our family doctor. He made a remark "I don't have time to collect details of the kid from birth and the family doctor should summarise about the diagnosis and give him a copy". If the doctor has no time, then he shouldn't be looking at the patients. Doctor is a very senior person and we never expected this type of behaviour from and experience doctor. I would appreciate if the Doctor had suggested some solution for my problem. I have some spice allergy,today when I consulted him within a min, he said NO CURE and asked me not to intake any basic spice food.One of my relatives had the same issue,seems he recovered completely.

For Saying No cure in 2mins I spent 700rupees in Sagar hospital

Very patiently listened the issue my kid suffering from, and proceeded accordingly.

Now my kid is slowly recovering.

Dr kannan is very experienced doctor . His diagnosis was spot on which no other doctor could do for us. My baby's condition improved soon after following his treatment.

Doctor kannan is money oriented doctor..do all the unnecessary test..even for follow up with report he ask the money..very rude in behaviour. .not happy at all..pl avoid this doctor. .

We got appointment of Dr vijay Kumar also paid the fees of 700 + 100. But Dr Vijay Kumar referred our file to junior doctor without even sparing 5 mins for us , even though we requested junior Dr that we want to consult his senior but he denied . *** ****** ** ** *** ***** ** ******* ** **** I was not satisfied with hospital behavior and both the doctors.
