Dr. Deblina Biswas

I visited the clinic for tooth pain. Doctor listened to me carefully and suggested the treatment to be done. I got my root canal done. The service was excellent. There was a follow up. I highly recommend the doctor and the clinic.

I approached this clinic for orthodontic treatment. *** ******* ******* *** ** ********** ** ***** ** * *** ******** ** **** ************ **** *** ************ Dr. Deblina charged Rs. 600 for filling and exclusively told me that I need not pay anything when I consult Dr. Manjuprasad.

Dr. Manjuprasad said that this can be treated with invisible aligners (which was my preference) and I decided to go for scan. Dr. Deblina took Rs. 5000 advance for impressions. Dr. Deblina gave me a paper receipt and said she would give printed receipt later.

After 2 days, Dr. Deblina told me that aligners may not work and I need to go for fixed braces. I told her I can't go for braces at this point and requested for refund.

She got a bit offended and upon my repeated requests agreed to refund Rs. 4100. Rs. 900 was deducted for orthodontist fees and impressions. When I asked her, why she is charging orthodontist fees (As she conveyed earlier, there would be no orthodontist fees), she started yelling and told she did the filling that day and do I expect her to do that service for free.

I also asked if I get any scans or reports for impressions, she said she would convey to me, but it has been 10 days and I have not received any communication on that.

While refunding 4100, Dr. Deblina said she is doing a favour for me as corporate dental chains won't do that. I would like to tell her, that these chains give you printed receipts with GSTIN info and have standard charges. * ** *** **** ** *** ** ****** ** **** ** ***** **** ***** ( On a side note, I gave 2 star and not 1 star, only because I got atleast 4100 back)
