In my professional life I have successfully delivered 1000+ patients suffering from multiple problems ranging from prelingual deafness to aphasia, dysarthria developed in adults or aged people due to trauma, stroke etc. My major part of career was with advanced bionics a cochlear implant company where I served as a cochlear implant specialist heading North India and delivered my services to 100 plus clients right from candidacy for the implant to complete management and rehabilitation post implant. I am a proud student of Dr. Vijay Lakshmi Basavraj (my mentor and guide at AYNIHH). From past 2 years Veethika Kapur running own clinic serving patients with complex disorders like multiple disabilities, severe autism, ADHD, down syndromes, children with CP, stroke patients with aphasia, voice and fluency disorders. After having a diverse hands on experience of the entire filed Veethika Kapur feel equipped to run a chain of clinics which is kind of need of the society because the entire field is full of “Quarks” who are spoiling the noble field which results in trauma for the needy patients.

I was diagnosed with tongue cancer in 2023 and had to undergo a glossectomy followed by radiation therapy from January to March 2024. For those who do not know, radiation does not differentiate between good and bad cells, and while it helped destroy the cancer, it also caused significant damage to my tongue and surrounding areas, resulting in fibrosis, loss of mobility, and severe difficulties with speaking, chewing, and eating.
