If you are reading this, you or someone of your beloved is having hearing or speech problem. I can understand your pain. Have patience, faith in God but before making decisions for any doctor, you should ensure:

1. Is the doctor qualified because in Delhi/NCR a number of less qualified people are sitting and pretend to be expert audiologists.

2. Is the doctor skilled and experienced. As hearing loss or speech problem is not a disease rather an impairment, skill and experience of the doctor is very critical.

3. Is the doctor Professional and Ethically good because there are many cases where so called audiologists are not professional. they are not capable of assessing every patient requirement holistically.

4. Is the doctor having good and capable team of thereapists as the main doctor will not be taking the classes.

4. Is the doctor is more interested in treating the patient or sale hearing aids. I have crosschecked almost 10, 80% of them are interested to sale hearing aids to maximize their benefits. It should be noted that sales of hearing aids has become the main axis of this industry and most of the doctors/consultants/clinics/hospitals are interested to sale hearing aids rather than treating patients professionally, holistically and ethically. One must do his due diligence before buying any hearing aid. Every hearing aid product/company has their own features that suits best variable on case to case basis.

As per far as V-Listen clinic and Dr. Veethika is concerned, I have come to this doctor after crosschecking 8-10 places at least. There is really genuine and strong reasons that I finalized this doctor the main are following.

1. The doctor is a qualified professional. *** **** ********* ** *** ********* *** ****** ** ******* *** experienced, assess the patient comprehensively, explain realistically and prepare treatment road map by taking multiple aspects into consideration.

3. She is an honest doctor and not interested in sale hearing aids.

4. Has good team of therapists. Has recently relocated in a more spacious clinic at Sapphire Mall itself.

I will strongly recommend Dr. Veethika Kapoor, because diseases have very well defined procedures but impairments take many things that needs to be effectively placed in order to achieve desirable results and this needs qualification, skill, experience, professionalism, infrastructure and integrity that you can find in Dr. Veethika. The very intent of this doctor seems to serve people which must be very cause of this humble profession rather than monetary benefits which is prominent now and is the key differentiator in today's market . If you are thinking something doubtful with your present scenario, gather knowledge and crosscheck the things before losing money and time and putting the patient future at stake as there are many dishonest people sitting in popular and high end places. I pray may the almighty God bestow each and every upon you and give you strength to keep patience and positive outlook towards life even in the hardest crisis of life.

I was diagnosed with tongue cancer in 2023 and had to undergo a glossectomy followed by radiation therapy from January to March 2024. For those who do not know, radiation does not differentiate between good and bad cells, and while it helped destroy the cancer, it also caused significant damage to my tongue and surrounding areas, resulting in fibrosis, loss of mobility, and severe difficulties with speaking, chewing, and eating.

My daughter is 4.6yrs now....she was a premie, born in 29weeks. Everything was fine with her hearing initially. She even started babbling,saying a few words too...but suddenly she stopped speaking. I am 68 and suffering from severe hearing loss in both ears for over two decades and suddenly in Dec. 2021 I felt like total hearing loss. I tried programmable hearing aids of a reputed brand but wasn't satisfied. Then I consulted Ms. Vitheeka Kapur in Jan. 22 and explained my past experience. She is a very talented, knowledgeable and experience audiologist. She performed a few hearing & speech audiometery tests and was able to precisely diagnose the problem. Based on that she conducted a few sessions of speech audio therapy and programmed the OTICON hearing aids. After a few trials and programmings I was feeling fully satisfied even in extreme noise conditions. Now after about 4 months of being on these aids a sort of miracle has happened and my lost hearing has revived to some extent in one of the ear which was considered close to near total loss for over two decades. I am very thankful to Ms. Vitheeka Kapur for doing this magical treatment which has made me feel alive again. I am now confidently meeting & communicating with people, which I had been avoiding earlier.

My daughter was diagnosed for hearing loss at age 2 yr.She was diagnosed with rare form of deafness i.e auditory neuropathy spectrum disorder(ansd). We were told my many doctors that cochlear implants are ultimate solution for ansd as with hearing aids it will be complete noise, still we put her hearing aids at 3.5yr we got little or no response from it. We finally proceed with cochlear implants as we knew the risk that we don’t know with ansd it would be successful or not.

Later she got implanted at 4.5yr both ears and within 3 months she started speaking in sentences

Now its almost a year being implanted and she made astounding progress

She speaks in complete sentences,talks non stop

She dances on lyrics of songs and started using phone

Currently now she is 5.4yrs old.

Later we came to v listen for her articulation and i am so delighted to be here to see her progressing with tongue movements which she could not do earlier

I would like to conclude that yes with ansd type of deafness cochlear implants are fully successful

One should get it done as soon as possible and would recommend v- listen as Veethika and her team are positive towards achieving goals.

I would say this place is the best solution for the parents who are facing speech issues in their kids. Leave the job upto them & they will make it happen. A little effort is required definitely - Patience , trust in the process , trusting the faculty & doctor & one hour of daily practise. Abhay sir & Diksha mam were the faculty for my child & they did a brilliant job. Just in 4 month my child has learnt all the letters & articulation. I visited Dr. Veethika wanting to upgrade my hearing aids. I have been using hearing aids for the past 9 years, and I simply wanted to go get a new, good quality hearing aid. Frankly, I was expecting this to be a routine transaction; but I was pleasantly surprised with how it was not.

The doctor first had my audiometry test done and took the effort to understand my problem in detail, post which she recommended a device, which according to her, would help me best. She even gave this to me on a trial basis so that I can judge the device myself after using the same.

It deserves a special mention that before recommending the device, the doctor, very patiently, explained to me the working of a hearing aid, the working of our auditory perception, and how, given this, the aids I had been using till now we're not upto the mark, and doing more harm than good to me, given my relatively young age.

I have been using the device for some time now and the doctor and her staff have always been approachable for even the minutest of issues, like changing the device settings, and have always helped me with prompt action for the same.

The device I am using now is helping me hear (and thus speak) much more clearly. Sounds which used to be muffled earlier, and which I had just accepted as a lifelong phenomenon, are being perceived by me now. The auditory sessions organised by the doctor have also helped me a great deal with the same.

In all honesty, I truly feel blessed and lucky to have crossed paths with Dr. Veethika. She approaches her profession very religiously and I have no qualms in admitting that she stands head and shoulders above all other hearing specialists I have been in contact with ever since the onset of my hearing loss.
