Ms. Simmy Rohilla

an RCI-registered Clinical Psychologist with over a decade of extensive training and experience in India, the United Kingdom, and Ireland in the area of mental health.She has been working with children and adults in public hospitals, prisons, schools, NGOs, corporate, and care homes. She has also worked as an Assistant Professor and supervisor in the Department of Clinical Psychology, SGT University, India for Clinical Psychologist trainees. Her focus areas include but are not restricted to clinical disorders like depression, anxiety, trauma, OCD, phobias, relationship/marital issues, sexual dysfunctions & disorders as well as nonclinical mental health issues like low self-esteem, body-image issues, and alike.Her psychotherapeutic intervention is based on the client and therapist mutually decided goals as she believes in working as a facilitator for her clients. She doesn’t believe in putting her clients in a box of labels (diagnosis) but in helping them in their holistic development to facilitate growth and change.She feels everyone should take care of their mental health as much as they do for their physical health. Thus, strongly advocating the need for awareness and de-stigmatization of mental health.
