I was diagnosed with tongue cancer in 2023 and had to undergo a glossectomy followed by radiation therapy from January to March 2024. For those who do not know, radiation does not differentiate between good and bad cells, and while it helped destroy the cancer, it also caused significant damage to my tongue and surrounding areas, resulting in fibrosis, loss of mobility, and severe difficulties with speaking, chewing, and eating.

I have been struggling with a vocal cord problem since birth and always thought it was impossible to heal. Last month, I came across V-Listen Speech & Hearing Clinic, and to my surprise, it completely changed my perspective. The clinic has a warm, welcoming environment, and the entire team is extremely supportive and professional.

My daughter is 4.6yrs now....she was a premie, born in 29weeks. Everything was fine with her hearing initially. She even started babbling,saying a few words too...but suddenly she stopped speaking. We dint realise what the reason was. Then someone told us to get her hearing tests done. N there we came to know that not only by birth,but hearing issues can develop later too... And then i came in touch with Dr. Veethika ma'am. Being misguided by many audiologists,i got a satisfactory treatment from her. More than me,she is more keen about my daughter's progress. Inspite of having so many patients,taking update of each patient is not easy. But ma'am has always been in touch with me regarding what should be done next n how i should work on my daughter even at home...
