Dr. Tushar Aditya Narain

Dr. Tushar Aditya Narain is a Senior Consultant in Urologic Oncology and Robotic Surgery at Max Smart Super Specialty Hospital in Saket, New Delhi. He has been fellowship trained in robotic prostate and bladder cancer surgeries at University College London Hospital NHS Foundation Trust (UCLH) where he spent two years treating prostate and bladder cancers exclusively. UCLH is one of the largest centers in United Kingdom (UK) performing robotic prostatectomies and robotic radical cystectomies and he has had the privilege of working with and being trained by world leaders in robotic surgery before returning to his homeland. Before joining Max Healthcare, he was working as a Consultant Uro-oncologist and Robotic Surgeon at Medanta – The Medicity in Gurgaon, where he was performing robotic surgeries for prostate, bladder, kidney and adrenal cancers. He has previously worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Urology at AIIMS, Rishikesh before moving to the UK. His areas of interest and expertise include urological malignancies and robotic surgeries. He is a M.Ch. in Urology, trained from Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh. He did his Masters in Surgery (M.S.) from All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi and medical graduation (MBBS) from Seth GS Medical College and KEM Hospital, Mumbai. During his urology training, he went to Mount Sinai Hospital, New York, USA, for a month for training in uro-oncology and robotic surgeries under Dr. Ash Tewari. He has also been trained in uro-oncology under Dr. Sudhir Rawal at Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute and Research Centre, New Delhi. His field of work includes cancers of the prostate, kidneys, bladder, ureters, testes and penis. He has also extensively researched in the field of uro-oncology and has more than fifty papers published in different peer reviewed journals. At present he is working at Max Smart Super Specialty Hospital in Saket, New Delhi as a Senior Consultant in Urologic Oncology and Robotic Surgery and is treating all urological malignancies.
