Developed a frightening infection and walked into the OPD with 103 F fever. The staff quickly got me a consultation with Dr. Swati Kapoor, who then proceeded to treat me for a particularly challenging & complicated situation. I was pleasantly surprised by Dr. Kapoor's professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine care. I have been to most top big-name hospitals in the NCR and have become used to doctors who basically don't care. Like cardiologists who don't even auscultate and send you straight for an ECG, etc. Dr. Kapoor's approach to treatment, where the patient is central, was great to see. She actually took the time to listen to my concerns, ask probing questions, thoroughly explain what we were going to do, and outline a clear treatment plan, thus reassuring me and my anxious family members. She also has a great working equation with her colleagues in the hospital (Apollo Sec 82, Gurgaon, where I consulted her) and personally made sure that my radiology diagnostics were done promptly. Speaking of diagnostics, Dr. Kapoor will NOT order unnecessary tests and send you home with a mile-long prescription. What a relief! Thanks to her medical expertise and consistent follow-ups, I am feeling much better now. In fact I'm feeling great. I highly recommend Dr. Kapoor to anyone seeking excellent medical care, especially for elderly patients, because of her superb bedside manner, apart from her medical expertise. Thank you, Doctor, for your dedication to your noble profession, for redeeming one's faith in private treatment, and for practicing excellent medicine of course. Keep healing Ma'am!
