Dr. Suman N. Raina

I am undergoing an RCT (have 2 sittings till date) from an endo-dentist in South Delhi in my upper molar and was having toothache and gum inflammation since the RCT started. The dentist failed to give a satisfactory reason for the toothache and gum inflammation. I sought a second opinion from a very experienced dentist in Noida, who said that the RCT has to be redone and suggested few other treatments (in order to increase the bill).

Having spent over two weeks trying to figure out the reason behind the pain, I came to know about Dr. Suman through a relative of mine. I decided to consult her despite the fact that her clinic is more than 30 km from my office. It took her just one look to diagnose that I have a fracture in my tooth. She took an X-Ray to confirm her diagnosis. She gave me local anesthesia and took out the fractured portion.

I wonder why the endodentist who is doing my RCT or the other dentist who I consulted failed to figure out that it could be case of fractured tooth.

I wish I had consulted Dr. Suman when my toothache started rather than going to the endo-dentist in South Delhi.

I had pain in my wisdom tooth and since it was coming horizontal, it has to be removed. She called a good surgeon to do it and it was as smooth as it could be.

There are few other good points about her:

1. No unnecessary medicines: She did not provide medicines or scheduled appointments where none was required.

2. Good quality medicines: She prescribed the medicines that are standard and not the ones for which she would be getting good money

3. No greed of money: The charges for surgery were very nominal. She did not charge for her appointment where she removed stitches of surgery. She would be well within her right to charge for that appointment but she did not.

4. Caring nature: People are generally very afraid of any dental treatment, but she is really very caring and good doctor. Her advice and guidance helped me in a smooth recovery.

Dr. Suman is a nice doctor. The most important thing about her is that she never gives up. One of my tooth canal was not easily accessible but she tried her best and find the solution. I am very happy with her efforts. She is very reliable, humble and listen to the patient. What else we want. I highly recommend.
