Role of Pediatricians in our lives is much more than perceived by our minds. Those innocent cuties speak to us through them. I realized this when we met Doctor Saurabh.

Things were smooth till my 8th month of pregnancy and I was unaware of the tornado that waited for me at the end of the 8th month. My baby planned to meet me almost 1.5 months before the forecast.

The day of delivery....when my just born baby was struggling to learn the inhaling and exhaling of oxygen through his yet to mature respiratory system, Doctor Saurabh was the first person to help him learn and make his smooth exit out of the NICU. To our surprise, he was out from there in 4 days though it takes longer, even for many normal birth weight babies.

All this could be possible coz of Doctor Saurabh's continuous monitoring, skillful approach and understanding of the subject!

But his role didn't end at the exit doors of NICU . Infact there started another chapter. My baby was ready to see the world, but i knew nothing about this most important exam of life, 'the motherhood' and destiny prepared the question paper even trickier giving me a premature child! I went into severe postpartum depression coz of all this and made a pediatrician's job even tougher, as now he had to deal with a weak and depressed mom. I needed some serious nurturing and mentoring throughout!

Fortunately we slided into the right hands and my doctor knew the path expertly from a 1.88 kg birth weight premature child to a 4.5 kg healthy baby lying in my laps right now enjoying his sleep blissfully and peacefully.

He showed us the staircase that consisted of some important precautions and principal concepts to be understood by parents.

To name a few, the list included the following :

1. Way to healthy lactation

2. How to judge sufficient amount of feed for the baby

3. How many layers of clothes are required by the baby

4. Baby development stages

5. How to ensure babies Long term immunity

It made my journey smooth enough to know my honey bunny's needs and serve him well. My confidence is boosted everytime he sees my child.

We found our baby's messenger in him and Ruhaan(my cutie) found his God father in him....I wish the same for every Parent and every child!

There's a suggestion to all, as these angels can't speak our language yet, so we need to know their languages well!

Especially for initial 6 months when babies struggle to get accustomed to the planet, us knowing them precisely is the least we can do for them.

I love how amazing paediatrician Dr Saurabh Khanna is .I have been consulting him for my son’s nutrition , growth ,vaccination ,colic ,skin advices and any child related issues right after my child birth and I must say that I feel very confident that my son is under Dr Saurabh’s care .I think in today’s world it is all about convenience .Dr Saurabh is readily available and answers all the queries very patiently and thoroughly.You message him on WhatsApp in an emergency and he is there to give you on the go advice/tip to provide quick ease to your baby.My baby was IUGR before he was born.I was so terrified throughout my pregnancy .After he was born , my milk supply was not sufficient , baby was not gaining weight and list of my self created anxieties were endless .I was paranoid all the time and advices I was getting from people around me were causing me more stress .I remember Dr Saurabh telling me that a happy mom raises a happy child and there can’t be any problem which cannot be solved.

I visited for Childhood Infectionsthe doctor is wonderful. **** *** *** **** **** however, few of the hospital staff is unbelievable. we booked an appointment for 12:45, and then called the hospital to confirm. the hospital did confirm the time correctly. we reached hospital again confirmed at the reception and were told to go directly to doctor's room. however, the person assisting outside doctor's cabin, said that our appointment shows as 01:22, to our surprise without even asking for any number or name to confirm the booking. and then he was so rude to us when we tried to explain that the time has been confirmed by the hospital. at last, he said there's a software glitch. so we booked and recvd correct message, the call from hospital also mentioned the message correctly, then the reception guy also confirmed the correct time, but this guy has no idea what was going on. then we had to escalate the matter and see the doctor. these few people at CK Birla are ruining the efforts of the doctors also. needs to be checked and rectified on priority.

Be it first or second child, parents tend to do do their best.

When we were expecting our second baby, we promised to make the best decisions right from day one when our baby comes in our hands, right from the choice of gynac, hospital and ofcourse the pediatrician ( who is the child's first friend). We are happy to have Dr. Saurabh Khanna as our second baby pediatrician who made our journey to understand the baby better and make further right decisions towards his health.

Where our 1st child , faced sibling rivilary, doctor helped us understand him in a better way and things were easy.

By HIS grace ,we did not face any health issues in our second baby at birth time. Since babies tend to catch infections soon , we landed up in problem when our 1st kid ( suffering from allergic cold cough and congestion) fell ill and infection was passed to our new born at age of 2 month.

It was due to doctor Saurabh that we passed that phase without antibiotics. It was then he went through the medical reports of 1st one and advised right medication for him. It has been 7 months that we did not have to give any antibiotics to our elder son and his cold cough and congestion is always cured with the medication prescribed.

These days many doctors tend to give antibiotics in first go.

A big thank you doctor for our 1st son's better health.

Dr Saurabh is always available in case of any emergency. At times we had to call him at 11PM too, but never ever failed to help our kids. Even if on vacation, he is always available.

It was a very bad experience with ck birla, on Feb 10th my baby was born at ck birla. My baby was in problem but the doctor was not informed us. After three days they discharge us and we went to home. After thre days my baby has cuf and cold i connected to the doctor directly but the doctor couldn't pickup my call and disconnect then connected to hospital for appointment they said the appointment is full even I request for walking but they don't give us time. On Friday 17th my baby has serious issues and I visited to emergency but they took my baby into NICU but in the NICU the doctor keen him 3-4 hours on oxygen but there no improvement then she said I hv put him on ventilation even tlll than they didn't connect to Dr khanna (my baby doctor) after a long argument i shifted my baby ** ******* ******** *** *** ** **** ** ** ****** ********* ******* *** ***********

Explains everything very nicely, avoids giving unnecessary over hyped supplements, believes in treating the kid with minimum and only necessary medications which gives scope to the kid's immunity system to develop properly. Most of your worries about your kid's health problem are resolved just by consulting and listening to him explaining the problem.
