Dr Rahul Aggarwal is currently working as Associate Director and Head of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Apollo Cradle Hospital, Sector 82, Gurgaon (Haryana). He did his MBBS and MD Pediatrics from the prestigious PGIMS, Rohtak and then did his DM Neonatology From JIPMER, Puducherry. He was voted ‘The Best Outgoing DM Student’ and also won a Gold Medal in Neonatology.He is a life-time member of National Neonatology Forum (NNF) and Indian Academy of Pediatrics (IAP). He super-specializes in neonatal care, and resolves all kinds of disorders of newborn babies and gives them the utmost care. He is competent in handling extreme prematurity, asphyxia, seizures, hypotension, persistent pulmonary hypertension, respiratory distress syndrome, meconium aspiration syndrome, apnea, chronic lung disease, congenital and acquired sepsis, neonatal jaundice, feeding of IUGR babies, necrotising enterocolitis, metabolic disorders, congenital cardiac conditions, bleeding, anemia, acute kidney injury, hydronephrosis, metabolic bone disease, hypothyroidism, retinopathy of prematurity and medical management of neonatal surgical problems including diaphragmatic hernia, tracheoesophageal fistula, imperforate anus, gastroschisis and exomphalos. Besides that, Dr Rahul is also trained in paediatrics and treats infants and children as well. With around 11 years of extensive experience in the field of Pediatrics and Neonatology, he has been actively involved in teaching undergraduate, postgraduate, nursing and paramedical students. He has been a part of prestigious conferences and has multiple publications in both Indian And International journals.
