There are doctors who manipulate patients by giving them wrong information like the cost of surgery, side-effects of surgery, etc. and then when discovered bully the patient because they feel that they can get away with it.

My experience with this doctor is disastrous. He induced me for a surgery by quoting Rs. 20,000 fee which then swelled to Rs. 36,000 - I would have thought many times if I had the intimation of final cost of surgery. And he induced me for a surgery by hiding its side-effects.

But, when I asked him later, he started bullying me that no, no I told you everything.

It is doctors like these for which modern technology that can record conversation in smartphone are an absolute must. But, the best is to avoid such doctors altogether. In internet age, we can learn from other victims' experience rather than learning by becoming victims ourselves.
