We consulted Dr. Gaurav Bansal when my wife was diagnosed with multiple gallbladder stones (largest 14 mm) along with a 1 cm supra-umbilical hernia. Since two conditions had to be addressed in a single surgery, we had many concerns and questions.

Dr. Bansal patiently explained everything and gave us the confidence to proceed. He is highly skilled in minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery, and his expertise was clearly visible throughout the process.

The surgery went extremely smoothly. My wife had a very quick recovery, experienced minimal pain, and was discharged the very next day. The entire procedure and hospital process were so well managed that we hardly had to worry about anything at C.K. Birla Hospital.

What we appreciated the most was his humble, friendly, and approachable nature. He was also responsive on WhatsApp whenever available, which was very reassuring during recovery. Another thoughtful gesture was that he did not charge us a consultation fee during our clinic visit after the surgery.

My father came to Dr Gaurav Sir at Pratiksha hospital. He was suffering from parastomal hernia, acute jaundice, sepsis, severe electrolyte imbalance which started affecting kidneys and liver, extremely low haemoglobin, hiatus hernia, gall stones, vomiting and burst abdomen. Dr Gaurav in emergency took his case. He listened to each complaint of the patient. He then stabalised the patient for two days. This resulted in reversal of sepsis, kidney and liver problems. Then he performed multiple surgeries on the third day. It was 4 hour operation. Dr Gaurav performed jejunum resection, colostomy closure, fixed parastomal hernia, fixed the infection in the wound for the umbilical hernia, resected tumour and stabilised him to normal vitals within an hour after operation. Now my father is in general ward and he is able to walk, and eat with negligible infection and good haemoglobin.

I will highly recommened this doctor because

1. He is down to earth and very polite.

2. Gives proper time and care needed to the patient and all the attendents of the patient.

3. Right diagnosis at right time with right treatment.

4. Co ordiantes with all the doctors of the hospital himself.

5. No unnecessary treatment nor medicines. Thinks about right treatment for his patients. He daily changed medicines twice atleast as per my fathers need.

He saved my father's life. I am really grateful to him.

I would recommend everyone to him if you are looking for any good gastroenterology or any other area he is specialised for.

1. He is so calm & explains you each & every thing that you should know about your problems. If you ask silly questions also he is ready to address it.

2. If you are under his treatment you can completely leave your tension onto him as he guides you throughout your treatment journey. He also guides in the hospital admission & small troubles which you normally face into the hospital process.

What amazed me:

My mother had stones in gallbladder for 1 year or so & she was not ready to go under Sergey. I have visited many doctors here & there but l was not getting such confident that I should compell my mother to go under sergery. Then we met Dr. Gaurav Bansal in his sector 52 clinic. Me & my mother were so satisfied with his explanation & right direction of treatment. He explained us each & every minute things in a layman launguage so that we (are not from medical background) can understand what actually should be done for the treatment. We had insurance from some private company & he also helped by letting us know in which hospital we should admit my mom so that the insurance stands valid. He also has given me a person's contact to whom I can contact for any issues / help in the hospital. Which helped me a lot.

The sergury+ treatment was completed in 1& half day which I never expected. The very next day we were at home.

Now I see my mom is relaxed & happy which would be the greatest pleasure for any son.

Our experience with Dr. Gaurav is nothing short of exceptional as the treatment and procedure was explained lucidly and he supported us in the hospital admission process as well. He guided us properly such that we didn't have to spend much time in diagnostics and could manage the surgery in our most convenient schedule.

Great help by Dr. Gaurav. I reached to him when I had excruciating pain and bleeding, was in a bit of trauma. He emphathised with the situation *** *** * ***** ********** I went through the operation for hemorrhoidectomy and sphincterotomy, it went well. I visited the doctor for removal of abscess in a sebaceous gland cyst. The experience was very soothing right from the start.
