I credit Dr. Sharma with getting me back on my feet from a stage where I was surviving extreme pain in my back, and could barely manage to stand up straight. I was spending sleepless nights blaming 'bad posture' - as diagnosed by another doctor; when I decided to consult someone else. This was about 5-6 years ago, and at the time I decided to visit Artemis Hospital for a second opinion.
Dr. Sharma was quick to understand that the culprit was TB infection in my spinal cord. I was put on treatment that went the full circle for about 18 months. Since the time I was under his care, things continued to get better. As I look back today, I feel that I was fortunate to have met him at the right time, before things got worse.
He is someone who knows how to break the bad news, how to make layman understand what's plaguing their body, and someone who truly cares! He has been the trusted doctor for my friends and family members alike (including my mom).
