Dr. Vineesh Mathur

Dr vineesh mathur is presently working as director in the spine unit of the medanta bone and joint institute since its inception in 2009. He is trained in orthopaedics at the bj medical college, ahmadabad and finished his masters degree in 1991. He was awarded the prestigious membership of the national academy of medical sciences in 1995. He worked as registrar in orthopaedics and spine at the all india institute of medical sciences from 1992 to 1996. With an experience of 20 years in orthopaedics and spine, he has had expertise in surgeries with an experience of more than 5000 independent surgeries. Other than medical practices, he has published write ups on orthopaedics and spine issues, and represented the institute and country in national and international meetings. He has been granted research fellowships by the indian council of medical research and rotary international. He is a member of the association of spine surgeons of india and the north american spine society and is trained & worked as a visiting fellow at various hospitals in korea, turkey, the united states, spain and denmark including the seoul national university hospital.
