My father was diagnosed with Dengue.
He was being treated somewhere else but developed complications of liver and very low Platelet count; was referred to Dr. Sumit Gulla
He passionately handled the case; was always available & empathic.
His acumen, diagnosis & management was on spot. Did not even transfuse a single unit of platelets and literally taught us the dengue course of illness. He knew what he was doing and pacified us when we were panicking. My father made a full recovery & was discharged from hospital.
Even on follow up visit in OPD, he was compassionate and listened to us patiently.
