With over two decades of experience in eye care, Dr Shibal Bhartiya specializes in glaucoma, neuro-ophthalmology, and ocular surface diseases. As the founder of Vision Unlimited, she champions initiatives that improve the lives of underserved communities, filling critical gaps in resources and access. I consulted Dr. Shibal Bhartiya for my eye checkup while on GLP-1 medication for weight management. She did a very thorough retina and optic nerve evaluation including OCT and explained the GLP-1 related eye risks so clearly.

I am extremely grateful to Dr. Shibal Bhartiya for the excellent care and guidance she has provided throughout my treatment for glaucoma and uveitis. I was dealing with a complicated case of uveitic glaucoma, including elevated intraocular pressure (IOP), and ultimately required Ahmed valve surgery for glaucoma.
Dr. Bhartiya is highly ************* *** experienced in glaucoma management, uveitis-related glaucoma, glaucoma surgery, and complex eye conditions. She explained my condition and treatment options very clearly and patiently, which gave me a lot of confidence throughout the treatment.
My experience with Ahmed valve implantation and glaucoma follow-up has been very positive. Dr. Bhartiya has been extremely attentive during follow-ups and has carefully monitored my eye pressure and overall eye health.

I have been a patient of Dr Bhartiya for over three years now. I am now 85 and have been getting regular treatment from her for my Glaucoma since I returned to India from the Philippines in 2022.
In the Philippines I was under treatment for glaucoma for some 22 years and feel that I am adequately qualified to compare the treatment given by my ophthalmologists in the Philippines, in India (including at the Shroff Eye Centre and the Center for Sight in Gurgaon) and by Dr Bhartiya, who was working in Fortis Gurgaon when I first met her in December 2022.
The attention that Dr Bhartiya paid to my eye problems has been far superior to the attention that I got from my other doctors in the Philippines and in India. In her dealings with me she has shown a lot of patience and compassion in listening to my eye problems. She has also willingly provided me, after my appointments, the necessary follow up advice regarding my eye problems whenever that was needed.
During all these years I have also observed her patience and excellent crowd management skills when working under pressure. Even when there were many patients, I am particularly pleased to note that there was never any delay of more than 30 minutes in seeing me from my appointment time. Her management skills are well depicted in her ably managing not only the ophthalmology department but also other areas of her work such as for International Institute of Neuro and Spine and the Community Outreach and Wellness programs.

I was diagnosed with glaucoma and consulted Dr shibal Bhartiya in Gurgaon. She dud a very detailed evaluation including IOP ,optic nerve scan and visual field test.She explain very clearly my IOP is stable now
